| Everything happen so fast! Pretty cool that Ida get some more screentime than usually and have role in fight! Also Mui (I like her name, btw) *.* In past and now, she is so cute! I really like her character design *.* Hope she will be like Shana! Because in this episode she don't show off... but she fight with her brother, so I can forgive her this |
| I truly hate Takeshi. He is a hypocrite, lack common sense, and have the cheapest power ups. So far this show is a little better than Blazblue. Instead of patching stuff with his own brother he's trying to be a fake hero. So far in 2014 Takeshi is the worst male character. Can't wait to see who tops him. lol I might drop it not sure yet. I'm a sucker for magic. |

| Awesome fight! Most entertaining episode I've seen all week. Takeshi finally unleashed his sword's full power, I thought the sword was going to turn into a gun but the attack was still pretty cool. I can't wait until Ida learns to control his fire magic though, he seems to be very powerful. And damn they have an enemy on the inside, sucks to be them. Also Kurumi is getting more and more jealous, better be prepared for some drama. |
| I really hope Mui and Kurumi will take part in the offensive combat from now on, and not just be there for protections and healing, that would really annoy me. |

| The whole thing with Mui and her brother reminds me with the situation from Naruto and Sasuke, trying to get back a friend/loved one from the darkness, never giving up. The first 3 episodes were ALOT better than this one, but it was good, 7/10 for this episode. |

| Okay I give up, can someone please tell me why it seems like the mother hates Takeshi so much because all that hate can't just be from the brother getting in a accident. I mean she really didn't even care that Takeshi all of sudden was going to another school. Also can someone tell me in a spoiler if the moms personality is gonna do a complete 360 later on for some stupid cliche reason. |

| After last week's snore-fest, this episode was a nice change of pace. It was good to get some action, and less love triangle drama. This is still holding on to it's place as my favorite for the Winter 2014 season, although Witch Craft Works is starting to get some momentum(if this week's episode was any indication). The fight with Mui's brother was quite enjoyable, Takashi fared well against him but ultimately could not take the experienced magician without assistance from Ida and Twilight's OP ability. So, all in all, good battle sequence. It doesn't present Takashi as some kind of prodigy who cannot lose, and shows his weaknesses, while demonstrating what kind of potential he has with Twilight's ability. Isoshima wasn't quite as annoying this week, and made herself useful without making her boobs grow unnecessarily. But, I'm not holding out for this to a be a trend. It was cool that Ida got more screen time this week, and he's finally making a little bit of progress controlling his destruction magic. Maybe he just needs real combat experience to learn, since it's destruction magic and all. The teacher being a Trailer, no big surprise there. Kind of saw that one coming after episode 2. Overall, I'll give this episode 8/10. |

| Considering that I'm watching this for the action, it was a pretty good episode. Every other main character is annoying though, what with: - Mui just approaching her brother without any sort of plan and expecting him to suddenly stop being brainwashed. - Ida not considering using his flame to melt the ice he was encased in, although in his defense he can't control it properly. - Takeshi helping this girl he just met instead of, you know, talking to his brother and atempting to settle their dispute. - Kurumi having no significant role except delivering generic tsundere lines and Takeshi-ing |

| Holy Shit!!! This episode not only was nuts, it was so freaking intense that time went flying. They went pretty quickly into the battlefield and it was just as clear as they entered that it was merciless, I mean a guy becomes a puddle of blood or mud? then regenerates, but just as soon as that happens he's incinerated to death? Woah, talk about a cheap way to end someone. The fight with the brother was interesting, lots of spells used and it felt very natural. It was not that one-side, Takeshi could fight to a certain extent with his abilities and then the party uses several Normal Magics to support each other, so all in all it wasn't as half assed. The whole Twilight joint-attack felt a bit forceful since I doubt Takeshi ever pulled Blast Fog before to know how to use it, but otherwise it did not break the logic wall to much. I gotta agree a bit about Takeshi's character, so far it is a bit bland and a bit too heroic, the only thing that somehow makes it attractive is that he has an interesting ability couple with his own set of conflicts so that may make him evolve. |

| Better than last week but it still wasn't great or anything. The fight was cool but I felt like Kazumi could have done more. Sure he charged the bullet but he should've activated his fire magic when he was trapped or tried to attack the brother himself. I understand that he can't control it but he doesn't need a focused blast to melt ice plus he had enough focus to put his magic in the bullet in the first place. Takeshi is pretty cliche (the heroic guy) which is normally okay but he just doesn't have any redeeming qualities. I love the concept of evasive magic even though it makes him OP. |

| what the heck happened in this episode ? was this directed by a child or something ? I mean c'mon, so many dumb shit that it got to the point that it really pissed me off, and that does not happens frequentely. Starting with that completely awkward tsudenre rant by Isoshima.. "It's not like I care for you or something like that".. REALLY ? 2014 and you gonna give me that with a straght face ? Then we have the vilain onii san just waiting till everyone is done talking until his next attack... It happens sometimes in animes but come on there was way too much of that, dont believe me go back and watch the episode paying attention to that. and finally the epitomy of dumbness, blonde dude gets stuck in the ice and does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ? YOU HAVE FIRE MAGIC GODDAMIT... FIRE IS THAT THING THAT MELTS ICE YOU KNOW ?? Anyway its not like it was a completely awful episode, but the way it was so poorly executed really bothered me... there is a limit to dumbness (note that I didnt even go into MC topic, because after all dumb MC's is something I am already mentally prepared for every time I watch a anime) |
| Best episode yet, though that isn't saying much considering the first 3 episodes have been in the "I'm on the verge of dropping this" level. Takeshi is just annoying now. "It's because Mui won't give up. I want to help her." That willfulness could have helped you clear that conflict between you and your brother, your mom as well. Ah well, he's written that way so there's no use complaining. |

| This is slightly better then the previous episode, well it is mostly about the action scenes, and some flashbacks. Though the only bad thing I guess I can say is mostly the main characters and the story of it which is pretty uninteresting in a sort of way. As for the romance part in here, tbh I want Kurumi to win instead of Mui. I guess I could say I'm a fan of childhood friends. Seeing a couple of flashbacks of Takashi and Kurumi, and pretending to be BF and GF just gave points for them being together since the beginning. Anyway, at least they retrieve Mui, but still wants to find her brother to recover his memories. And yet Takashi volunteers to help find her brother. Action scenes were good so I'm looking forward to more of this. |

| I liked this episode, since we havent had any action in the last couple of episodes, I thought it was pretty good. Im glad they didnt show any romance this time around anyway, since this show´s best bet is the action, at least for me. |

A powerful enemy appears and doesn't one shot them for some reason. Also the director in the end. That was disappointing, 1/10. |

| Finally we're back to the action! The fight with Takeshi and Mui's brother was pretty well done, but I was kinda surprised this one event took up the entire episode. Ah well, time flies. Nice to see Ida getting some more screen time! It surprised me how he never thought to destroy the ice with his fire magic; even if he can't control it, it's destruction + fire, it's bound to get rid of ice. The fact Takeshi just 'learned' how to use the fire attack can be explained away by saying the magic bullet imbued with the fire magic taught him how on instinct, or something like that, when he used it. Violet being a traitor was obvious from episode 2. But it was nice to see it revealed. Also, why on earth did Mui not tell the Director about that? The witch girl who does the previews is one of the best parts about this show. The OP/ED are fantastic as well. 7/10 so far, let's see how much better this show can get! |
