| New York city! or what used to be the once large and overpopulated city has been reduced to just about nothing thanks to recent events unfolding without anyone having the slightest clue on where or why these creatures have come here. These towering creatures have appeared out of thin air as it would seem and there was no easy way to dispatch such a large foe. Thus causing humanity to flee underground and try and remain out of sight of these scary foes. the Nova's is what they are know as but surprisingly enough they dont have the ability of sight only hearing so most humans have resorted to sneaking around to try and get what they need. in the midst of this chaos we find two unwilling siblings forced to work together to survive the new challenge that awaits them. Stefan Him and his sister were hanging out in their normal spot on the surface trying to stay out of sight of the Novas. they lived in a small apartment that still had water and electricity going through it thanks to stefan setting up a small generator. stefan checked out the fridge they had that only had a half a loaf of bread and some jelly "im gonna have to venture back out there soon were running low on food again Clara" he said after closing the fridge and looking at her |

| "Hmm? Well if your going im going with you, i aint staying here all alone again like last time you went out" she says as she sat on the couch and out her feet up on the table "Its better if i go with you anyway, two sets of eyes is better then one right?" |
| Stefan "yeah but we need someone here to watch our stuff we wouldnt want someone to come take what little we still have" he pointed to the small generator in the room that kept the lights going "plus you can just pretend im going away on another sports competition and will be back before you know it" |

| "Im not a child anymore Stefan....." she sighs "Fine ill stay, but dont get yourself caught while your out there okay?" |
| "you should know me better than that by now i wont ever leave you again" he said as he grabbed a small backpack that was lying on the floor |

| "mmmmmm..." is all she mumbled then looked out the closed curtains slightly "It'll be getting dark soon....." |
| he sighed "do you know where the key do the door is?" he asked |
|
| "Nope" she sighed "you keep moving it" |
| "how about we make a bet then if you can find it before me i will let you tag along tonight? sound fair?" |
|
| "hmmm...Deal" she hops up from the couch and starts looking for the key |
| he slowly starts to search around checking a few drawers until he came across the key, he looked back at Clara then just closed the drawer next to the fridge and went to look in the bedroom |
|
| she keeps on looking around "come on where the hell is it!" |
| stefan checks all the windows in the bed room making sure the curtains were closed and the windows were locked then goes back into the other room and pretends to search again |
|
| " I bet you've hidden it just so i cant come with you!" she mumbles as she keeps searching more |
| he looks to her and chuckles "i havent checked the kitchen yet why dont you look there" he said as he went to check the other windows in the apartment making sure they were locked |
|
| She sighs and runs into the kitchen and began to rummage through everything |
| he went and turned off the generator knowing she would have to find the key by now. when he finished he checked the gas level left in the generator and then waited by the door |
|
| she ran back to him triumphant "haha! found it! hahah now i have to come with you!" she posed thinking herself victorious |
| he patted her on the head and smiled "i knew you could do it....are you ready to go? got everything you need?" |
|
| "Yeah i got everything, my bag, my Tanto, All ready" she stood with her hands on her hips smiling |
| "alright then lets head out" he said as he opened the door to the hazel looking evening they had some time but not too much before it got dark |
|
| She walked out and pulled the door shut while locking it |
| "Should we take the long way or do you wanna risk going through the center of town to make our trip shorter?" |
|
| "Uh.....the short way, we dont have much time, if were careful we should be okay" |
| "Just make sure you stay close to me" he started walking towards the town center |
|
| "Yeah i know i know" she stook close to him as they walked |
| Stefan tried to avoid the more major roads as they walked along know there could be trouble if them made too much noise he whispered "the supermarket is right around the corner |
|
| she nods and has one hand on the hilt of her tanto on her belt ready to use it if she needed to |
| Suddenly the ground around them started to shake Stefan quickly reacted by pushing both of them to the wall, he then waited to see what it was that could have been doing that |
|
| She blushes,her heart racing she whispers "is it a nova?" |
| The rumbling stopped Stefan peeked around the corner to see dust cloudin the air around a building, he sighed and whispered "I don't see one but a building doesn't just fall like that for no reason so keep your eyes peeled" he said as he let go of her and started to move slowly into the large courtyard |

| she nods and follows him,looking around hesititantly around every corner |
| Stefan noticed something at the last minute and pushed Clara back to safety as a gaint bolder can flying down from the sky. Stefan was barely able to roll out of the way in time he yelle to get the creatures attention "Run Clara get what we need and run! I will meet you back home" he took off running as fast as he could with the gaint creature on his tail it was only a few moments before they were out if sight from Clara |

| Clara nods knowing he would be okay and ran into the supermarket and grabbed everything that they needed, after she did that she ran back to their place and went inside |
| A few hours go by before Stefan finally makes it back he was panting as he just recently escaped the nova "oh good....you made it home safely...I'm so happy" |

| She runs over and hugs him "your alright.....i knew you'd be alright" |
| It was already dark outside "how much food did you end up finding some I hope?" He said as he hugged her back |

| she stood back and nodded"Yeah i managed to a get at least enough for a few weeks" |
| You didn't happen to grab some gas did you?" |
|
| she shook her head "no sorry..i had to prioritize food first" |
| It's alright I didn't tell you we needed gas" he patted her on the head again |
|
| she growled lightly "stop patting me like im a child..." |
| "Whew!" He let out a sigh of relief slouching back on the couch "well I'm glad we at least got some food to last us a while now no the thing his to stay warm" he shivered cuz his clothes were a little torn and beaten from running away from the nova |
|
| She goes and grabs him and blanket then covers him with it "here" |
| "Thanks try snd get some rest tonight" he smiled wrapping himself in it before nodding off to sleep on the couch |

| "Yeah i will..." she gets her own blanket and sits next to him and wraps herself up warm and falls asleep a few minutes later due to being really tired |
| Morning soon came when Stefan finally woke up he tried to moved without waking up Clara and went to get something to eat |
|
| "mmmm..." she tossed and turned her sleep,she was never a easy sleeper |
| He started to cook some eggs knowing it would'nt be long before she woke up |
|
| she sits up sleepishly and stretches while yawning |
