| In this thread, people who don't know what plot holes are. Most of the people complaining about them haven't listed a single one. Some characters were annoying, and the ending was rushed. However, I did enjoy every episode. That isn't something I can say about most anime, 7/10. |

| This ep was pure bullshit. I don't know how I came to become so attached to some of the characters, but this whole anime was just a bunch of bullshit with way too many plot holes and general...badness. I don't know what the heck about this show brought me so far, but a part of me is glad that it's done with and the rest of me is sad at how godawful it was. |

You just took the words off my mouth! I'm disappointed with the ending too, and did they even told us whose child was that ? I'm guessing A-drei is the father, and either Kriemhild is the mother or even Saki lol. 22:49 Kriemhild is hot in that dress! :P I have a feeling that there's a season 3 though lol. At least now i can expect Valvrave series to appear in future SRW games. I could hear a remix of Preserved Roses playing in my head now. |

| Haruto died as a hero.He lost all his memories which was expected but I was still quite upset that he did.Looks like the bodyjacking with L-elf didn't save him in the end.Also dat bro moment btw,those L-elf tears ;__; I was surprised that Shoko ended up becoming a Kamitsuki though.Also what were those slimy people thing? Quite the rushed ending.Never did get to learn who that kids parents were.7/10. |

| I was not expecting much from this, because the entire series has been mediocre for me overall. But the ending wasn't bad, wish it clarified some of the things, although was satisfactory for me nonetheless. 8/10 |
| Yeah I'll echo what everyone said and say ruuuuushed as hell. But still, there were some things I liked: - ARUS President screws the Council over lol - Akira alive yeahhhhhhhhh - JELLO ALIENS LOLOLOLOL There weren't any plot holes, just a bunch of open questions that weren't addressed and these aren't plot holes because they don't break the plot. You want plot holes, go to Mass Effect. Still if there was one question I want addressed, it's why didn't the Council of 101 just book it off of Earth once humanity developed spaceflight? If they really hated being here so much why not just hop on a shuttle and fly home while giving us the middle finger and yelling "Screw you suckers, we're outta here!" And, just who were those 2 AIs stuck in the Valvraves? Were they even Magius? It didn't seem like it but maybe I wasn't paying attention and missed something. Ehhh whatever. I do think, though that Guilty Crown's ending was much better than this. I give this show a 7/10, if only because the Valvrave fights were cool, we got 2 Lelouches for the price of 1 (lol) and the music was awesome. |

| Seriously wtf was that Shoko ending... Everyone that says "plot hole" needs to actually look up what that means because you obviously don't know what an actual plot hole is. It had some momentum building but the laundry list of kill offs in the last 3 episodes and that ending just leaves a real bad after taste. Then giving Shoko...really Shoko...the end like she is some ambassador for the future of peace between life forms. 6/10 for now for L-elf and the Dorrisian guys minus Q-chan. C'mon dude, A-drei & L-elf are what you get when you cut Lelouch up into two characters. lol |

| I knew there was no way in hell they would wrap up Valvrave in one episode. I'm hoping they'll announce another season, set of ovas, a movie, SOMETHING to wrap it up a little better. Other than that the action was pretty awesome. I thought for a second they pulled a G Gundam Moment where Haruto grabbed the core. "This hand glows with an awesome power! It's burning grip tells me to defeat you!" |

If the MCs survive in the end and found their pairings, this show would have been much more enjoyable, which is its purpose anyways. Kakumeiki 2nd season is ranked #928 atm. I am guessing it will drop rapidly in rank in the next few days. Probably to as low as #1200. Update: 5:47pm (Eastern) Dec 28 #963 1:13pm (Eastern) Dec 29 #1007 comment, so far it is proceeding according to my prediction. |

| They pulled 00 ending with aliens appearing for no reason. All in all, it was like your average Hollywood action movie. Full of plotholes and beyond stupid but still enjoyable when you want some simple entertainment where you need to switch the brain off. |

| Okay I feel I have to step in and point out that the aliens like Gundam 00 A Wakening Of The Trail Blazer weren't there for no reason. It was showing that in the future there might be a chance to try at co-existance with an intelligent non-human species since it clearly failed with the Magius. Whatever happens after that is left up to mystery, but really that's basically what it's about take it or leave it. I don't know why people have so much trouble with aliens in anime, it's like their ability to link what happens earlier in a show or episode goes right out the window if they see anything that kind of looks funny. I mean there are quite a few parts about the whole future and past of the series that go irritatingly under explored like how the empire is even founded to begin with, what happened to the rest of the cast besides Shoko, Saki, Satomi and Akira, who they were fighting in the flash forward in season 1, and the identity of the Prince to name a few, but I thought the significance of that scene as it relates to the characters whole dilemma in the finale was pretty damn clear. I guess though I can sort of see some people having trouble with it being Shoko that is the one to be the representative for the Kamitsuki in that whole scene but I kind of see it as it probably being her way of trying to make up for her mistakes in the present. bunny_lover said: Kakumeiki 2nd season is ranked #928 atm. | OK, I was certain Haruto would live. Did not like the ending; his death means the death of the franchise, my opinion. Well, I guess they start fighting aliens after they're done fighting humans. |
| "Do you believe in human beings?" Mmm. So it finally ends. Gotta love the epilogues in these types of shows, at least. Also, they allocated a decent enough budget for the finale's art and animation. The story? The show as a whole? I dunno. Man, they totally could have added more to it... I mean, they left a mountain of questions; mostly about that "future world"... Who were the "Golden Seven" and Saki's future enemies? Whose child was that kid? That young prince looks like L-Elf or A-Drei's child, but that's all we get...? On the other hand we know for sure that Akira lived on <3, plus Shouko eventually "resigned" her humanity, among other things since we see her still alive basically unchanged many, many years later. L-Elf carried this show for me, and at least he made it in one piece for the finale. Annoying at times, but riveting enough that I could never drop it. Irritainment until the very end, oh yes. |

| So many plot holes up left gaping. Ideally they could have had another series (but sales). Hell I wouldn't mind even least another episode or two to improve the rushed as hell ending and tie the knots. |

Haruto died, 1+ L-elf survives, 1+ Cain died, 3+ Akira survives, 2+ Plotholes, 5- 7/10 for this series, Nope. i rate it 10/10 because Mizuki Nana and T.M. Revolution is so awesome at singing. No season 3 but just make OVA or Movie instead. R.I.P. Haruto, thanks for making another genocide in space. | As much as I want another season, seems like it won't be possible. I don't really mind an end where our main dies, but I do mind the facts that there are so many things left unexplained. Like, whose child is that kid? L'elf's or A-drei's? and with whom? How big is the Galactic Empire now? How come there are even lifeform 53s now? | A lot of plotholes. I don't think there will be a third season. It's more likely that Aniplex will do a movie since that's what they've been doing for quite a few anime lately. If they decide to do this I just hope that it explains the plotholes and they make it a sequel rather than a summary of the whole series. |

| Well seems like they managed to end it quite well. Would've wanted Haruto and Rukina together and Michael and Lieselotte together. But lol L-Elf as the guy who wed those 2 in the end :D and that Haruto statue was awfully made, i mean the statue was badass but Haruto not so much. I agree that the kid was A-dreis. Probably with the woman with braids who was secretly helping the Royalists. EDIT: they should've definately killed Shoko for being such a bitch and an annoyance |

Anyway, I have mixed feelings about this series. It's incredibly clustered but at the same time, it has its moments. I want some kind of sequel at least. OVA or specials. |
| Is that all? Unlike last season, this feels like it really could be the end. The aftermath was a bit rushed, but it did "end" it. Cain... dying in a stupid mech battle? Kinda lame. It would have been more fulfilling if he was outsmarted by L-Elf instead. |

| I barely ever watched crazy shows like this and I will remember Valvrave being the one that made me realize how much fun they can be.I started liking season 1 more & more with each passing episode and the 2nd season was honestly my most anticipated show of fall(that was also because nothing else caught my eye from previews back then too though). The 2nd season of Valvrave took a much more serious & darker aproach though which I personally really enjoyed.It didn’t take me too long to accept this more serious version of the crazy Valvrare I knew because I felt the 1st season was already going down that path.This has actually been my 2nd favorite show of fall,until this ending.I’ll be honest here: at some points in this season I forgot that Valvrave was a show where you shouldn’t ask too many questions and just enjoy the ride but this is most likely the case with a lot of viewers.My inexperience with crazy shows such as this still showed off though and as a result,I ended up being not just disappointed but also a bit angry at this ending. In the end,I can’t say I didn’t have lots of fun watching Valvrave but MEEEEEHHHHH!I’ll need a bit to get over this lackluster ending.Still,it was a damn fun ride,Sunrise.From now on I’ll be watching more of these types of shows but I’ve learned my lesson not to expect much in the long run. |
