Holy shit. Hollowfied Ichigo, I mean Eren using Kuchiyose no Jutsu was crazy. It was quite obvious that his dad a part play in it, so my question is were the first titans/giants human experiments?

Oh, man I probably fangirled through this whole episode. Especially Dat End. Mikasa was ready to slice and dice, Armin was scared shitless. Now I know why everyone loves Levi and I spotted another beauty.

But Dat End, intense as fuck.

11/10. Was there even any stills to complain about in this episode? I don't even think so. Even then I wouldn't care. It was that great.

There were a few when they were narrating various things, but it made sense for those parts to be stills. They were montages.

pming would you shut up with this 'haters' nonsense? People are entitled to whatever opinions they want, this is a discussion thread not a circlejerk.

If you think people making curt negative comments is bad, then likewise people going "omg so epic" should also leave, yet you don't seem to have a problem with that.

There's a big difference between constructive criticism and nitpicking criticism.

Haters think they're the former when they're actually the latter.

Also, I didn't bring up haters. Note the ^^^ on my post.

I'm just advising to ignore haters especially if you think their comments are hateful.

If non-constructive negativity should be ignored, then why don't you feel the same way about non-constructive positivity? Both contribute more or less the same amount to a discussion.

Great post. People just can't handle opinions that differ from theirs, especially if it's a negative one. So negativity should be avoided at all costs because it disturbs the mood the forum? You guys just can't handle a different opinion and blame it on "nitpicking criticism", since it must not be allowed. I've read many posts saying OFMG EPIC AWESOME (not talking about SnK only, but rather any series) that almost irritated me for making the user seem too much of a fanboy without brains and yet I didn't tell him his positive post was a nuisance. So saying an episode is perfect is ok because no one cares about it, but nitpicking is? No snse at all. Just because nobody isn't making a fuss over a comment that says that the episode is fucking great, it doesn't mean no one is bothered by it in some way. And if I feel like it, I'll say that the dubbing of Verman made me mute the episode and that Sawano's vocal songs suck, I'll do it, without having to mention that I liked the episode.

Anyway, I'm not a hater, I'm liking what I've seen so far, but I'm fucking tired of all this fuss over "haters". Stop being stupid and watch the fcuking show without acting like brats.

I think the root of the problem is that people are too quick to lump criticism together with hate. I've noticed that a lot of people will reply to negative comments by calling the person a 'hater' instead of trying to refute their argument.

Yeah, it's the worst insert song I think. It's the same one from episode 3 when Eren finally manages to use the 3DMG. I want to hear the one from episode 4 again.

Thankfully Levi and Hanji's antics distracted me from the vocals in that scene.

Wow this episode was awesome. So Eren didn't take over Darwin-Titan, but turned into a Titan himself. As predicted, his father injected him with something that would give him the ability to transform into a titan in order to protect Armin and Mikasa as well as get to the basement of their house.

Humanity is scared of course since Eren's transformation ability is unusual, and it seemed like it was only a matter of time until Eren turned on humans. However, they did make a mistake trying to kill him and Mikasa, as mentioned by the soldier. Mikasa is worth 100 soldiers, they would regret killing her later.

Now... what was in Dr. Jaeger's basement? Why does he want Eren to go there so badly. I suppose we just have to be patient.... Or get ahead with the Manga!!

(>,<), i'm stuck with that decision, because the anime will be less fun if I know what'll happen.. and when i've catched up with the manga. I'll have to wait AGAIN..

I guess that i'll have to be very patient, enjoy the anime, and read the manga when the anime is finished.

The general from Majestic Prince and the old incompetent one here would be best friends. An okay episode if a little slower paced then usual, was kinda cool to see the insides of a titan at least

OMG, this episode was full of so much win I can't believe it! Levi and the special recon troop are awesome. And I'm starting to think its a conspiracy that all the badass characters as of late have names beginning with "L" (Lelouch, Light, L, L-elf, and now Levi). I like his character very much as he seems to be a mix of the skill of Mikasa and the determination of Eren, and will enjoy seeing him further in the future.

However, we also get to get a perspective of Eren as he becomes the Titan and the imagery of him the Titan's stomach was both fascinating and sickening. We get to see how Eren became the Titan and that with Eren's monologue was awesome to behold. However, I can see why the other soldiers are spooked, however, they should think for a second instead of relying on their fears. This is a breakthrough in knowing the enemy but, they refuse to see it. Eren himself has no knowledge of anything that happened but knows that he, Mikasa, and Armin are in danger. He then has a flashback of what really happened with him and his dad and we learn that the injection he gave Eren is responsible.

This has all given Eren special Titan abilities, which he uses to the amazement of the soldiers who have ordered Eren's execution. This was all so awesome, and I can't wait to see what happens next! Poor Eren, to become what he hates and not even know it. But I think he will understand if he is able to use his new powers to take down the Titans.

I give this episode a 9.75/10. Just pure awesome.

Enter Rivaille and Hanji!

Another fantastic adaption from the manga, and I was really happy to see Rivaille and Hanji in action. The anime did a great job on portraying what a maniac Hanji is for Titans and Rivaille's traits as a person. Cold and clean as ever. Hiroshi Kamiya did not disappoint either, his cold voice fits Rivaille just perfectly.

The scenes where Rivaille and Hanji goes on their killing sprees was another eye candy for me to watch, and with glorious OST again playing in the background just made it even more badass. 26 days until the OST is out. Longest wait ever, FML.

Mikasa shows yet again how far she would go for Eren, and Armin is just scared shitless as always. The Eren's titan scene prior to the scene where they are cornered were done just amazing as well. One of many things that I've been waiting for since the anime had started 9 weeks ago.

This flashback should answer the question about how Eren acquired the power in the first place, with the amazing OST again is being played again as Eren goes into his instinct and turns himself to a Hollow Titan to protect Mikasa and Eren was another plus for this episode.

When the episode started, I was a bit worried that they were going to rush this episode, and fortunately they are taking their time and is doing a one hell of a job so far. The next episodes are going to be interesting as hell!

This spin attack! Rivaille~

I think it's decent, but it's my least favorite of the ones used so far. Wasn't the song from episode 4 used again in episode 7? I kind of liked that one. The one playing when Eren was in the Titan's stomach was pretty awesome. I'm looking forward to hearing the song from the second PV, too, though I'd rather hear more of the epic orchestral tracks than vocal music.
