| ;;___;; Wtf, I'm not supposed to cry when I watch Gintama. So why are my eyes teary? That ending was beautiful. They both died, under the bright moon, right where they promised to reunite and go somewhere, far away from Yoshiwara. Pfffffiou, for a second, I thought Sadasada would escape death. Thank god Takasugi saved the day. I would have liked for Oboro to die too. It would have helped Gintoki to turn a page on his past, but that dude will obviously come haunting him back. It was seriously an amazing arc. When Gintoki goes rage mode, nothing can be more epic than that. |

| Wow, I did not expect Takasugi to make an appearance out of nowhere and send SogoSogo to hell. "Say hello to Sensei for me." Great arc overall, but it needed more Katsura, considering this arc was related to Shoyo, who taught Gintoki, Takasugi as well as Katsura. |

My favourite serious arc along with Yoshiwara in Flames. There was some humour, a good story and great action! Probably the best action in Gintama so far! |

| Ahh this arc finally ended. Definitely one of the best arcs. I remember this started with Gin-san trying to help a prostitute fulfill her promise to her customer that she fell in love with. It sounded ridiculous but look at it now. They ended up messing with the superpowers controlling their whole damn country. That's so Gintama. Takasugi delivering justice like a boss. |

| It was a beautiful ending for this arc, these two old lovers are adorable :). When Takasugi appeared, I was screaming for joy in my house. He has avanged his sensei. | Wow, great arc. I gotta say, I'm starting to sympathize even with Takasugi and his cruel methods, I'm hoping he could come round and join forces with Gin in the final arc. Also, this episode was the first mention of the Emperor in the series, wasn't it? We learned more about Edo politics in this arc than in all the previous 250 episodes, awesome. |

| Such a great arc, it's definitely one of the best so far. The plot made such a huge jump forward and character developement was on point. Can't believe about all these things which happened in this episode. First of all how did Oboro survive? I mean he got spiked by Gins sword. His conversation with Nobume was interesting. So she was also part of the Tendoushou? I hope they will show more of her past. Damn Takasugi killed Sadasada. Long time we haven't seen anything of him but one thing is obvious after this, he wants to destroy the Tendoushou. So does that mean Nobume and Sasaki working together with Takasugi? I'm glad Shigeshige will stay as the shogun. Wouldn't be the same without him :D That ending was so good but at the same time so sad ;_; GintokixTsukuyo is confirmed, after that episode definitely. |

Maizo: What are you talking about? Nothing has changed. The cherry blossoms are every bit as beautiful as they once were. Amazing ending for a great arc T_T Call me sadistic, but I wanted Sadasada to die more brutally. You disappoint me, Takasugi.. |

| That was so incredible beautiful and depressing,I cried buckets ;_; Overall it was an outstanding arc and brought everything on the table. Comedy,drama,action,story and character development,it got them all. I was also really impressed by the shogun,that he can be more than a gag character and as always good to see Takasugi,him killing Sadasada was the little highlight in this episode. |
