| Quite the introduction to a new arc, although with it being the start of a new canon arc I was expecting a new OP. Disappointed that they felt the need for that obnoxiously long recap covering the Film:Z promo mini arc when it effectively has zero effect on this arc at all. Was happy enough with the slow pacing to show off the island, but felt if they were going to do that, then they should've been alluding to more specifics of what could've happened here. With a very active volcano, the situation seems explainable, but even then the surrounding sea being on fire is overkill for just volcanic activity. Just what did the World Gov and Navy do on this previously inhabited island, and where is this cold part going to be? |
