| You guys think this is bad, watch Princess Tutu - MAL follows its airing format, in which its second cour was split up into one 22-minute (final?) episode and 24 11-minute episodes, which were joined together for the DVD release. So "episode 16" for some people is episodes 18 and 19 for others, etc. Guess what the situation is with the episode threads from 14 to 26. :P Then there's the TV ad series https://myanimelist.net/anime/35770/Hungry_Days__Aoharu_ka_yo in which everyone thought the Kiki ad was episode 1, and voted/commented on it in the episode 1 thread, only for it to be revealed hours later that the Kiki ad was episode 2 and the real episode 1 was a different ad without Kiki in it. The posts about episode 2 in the episode 1 thread are of course still there. As for my reaction to this notification: "Oh no, am I going to have to watch more Air? Oh, okay, good." |

| After 12 years...? Seriously? This is more accurate tbh, since ep 13 is essentially a recap and a promo for Air in Summer. =( I was hoping for an alternate ending or something. |

| I don't understand recap episodes for 12 episode shows with no second season, especially dramas where the emotional pacing matters so much. Like, is anybody who didn't watch the full show watching these? If you're so disinterested in a show you want it condensed down to 22 minutes of old footage in the first place, I'd just go read the wikipedia article. |
