For example, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi has been changed to its romanji title "Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi( 史上最強の弟子ケンイチ)" since that is how it is in the manga cover. But JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken(ジョジョの奇妙な冒険) is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure when the manga cover, the anime page and the official website says it's suppose to be the former. What qualifies a show to use its English or Japanese title? Or is it because the title for Jojo is already well known that it will cause confusion when it gets changed? |

Other special cases may also exist. In the case of Jojo, it is likely that number three was the reasoning. |

But the MAL description says "Specials 'Scenery of Tortaria' and 'My name is...' are not included, because they are more of the slideshows with no actual story." So that would knock it down to 8. [Though I didn't realize that the classification of specials factored 'actual story'. IDK if that's what the user imputed it wanted or if it was a Mod agreement.] So...three that are currently listed. Plus the four website openings. And then the Hikari no Toki music vid. [I'm not sure if this last one would be included as a special or if a new database entry should be made just for it.] In the MAL base specials, it mentions the Apple Incident (which is a DVD extra for sure).
