Being jealous is unavoidable when you like someone but you have to keep your jealousy in check before it becomes paranoia. And Usui really is crossing the line here. First ruining her day with her friends and making her lose the ossen trip and now trying to destroy her try of helping a friend. The girl is poor she doesn't get many chances to go to places with other friends and visit those ossen things. What he did was cruel. |

To me, if you love someone, you want them to be happy. | Usui is indeed being very selfish, and if it wasn't for the fact that he always ends up being right he would be downright annoying. But since he's perfect, that's never an issue. ^^ Still, it wouldn't hurt to see Misa triumph over Usui for a change. The 'Usui is obsessive but always right' plot has gotten a bit old after 17 episodes. |

| I get what everybody is saying and not to start arguments or anything, I just think for the most part he is still doing okay. Maybe I just dont want to take the moral high road and say whats the politically correct answer but rather go with what I think of their set up. |
| Overall good episode, I like getting to see Aoi-chan since he's not around that often. But Usui can be annoying sometimes, and this episode was one of those times for me... I thought it was going to turn out that Usui competes in the tournament and wins despite Misa and Aoi trying their hardest...then he would explain that in his mind, he was helping Aoi, because he believed everyone should be themselves...or something. But it turned out he competed because he didn't want people looking at Misa in a bikini? >_> Same with last episode and the whole situation with the kiss. Most of the time I can overlook the issues with Usui because the interaction between him and Misa is actually pretty funny. Sometimes he goes overboard though. Still, he entertains me ;) I can't wait till next episode, I'm finally caught up with this series...I'm happy to get to see those three idiots again. They always make me smile~ |

People - women especially - are always going to be treated as eye candy because other people are always looking. You cannot escape this, unless you choose to lock yourself in a dark basement for the rest of your life. And Usui is possessive, even if he does not always physically act on it. And the way Usui is behaving, I would not say he is putting Misaki's needs first and respecting her. No, he is being a jealous ass and actively interefering in the things she wants to do. Yes, he has helped her before, but I just feel that his possessiveness is becoming an irritant to some viewers rather than something he can be applauded for. | hallmarks of all anime or manga series is that they tend to tease but not follow through. That usually comes @ the end XD Though i would say that KWMS did buck the trend abit when Takumi stole one as early as episode 6. All we're waiting for now is when Misaki herself will somewhat take the initiative herself. They came very close though~ :D |

| Oh shoot! They almost kissed... that girl is the a hardcore Tsundere peps! She loves to be harrassed... if not then explain me how come she's falling even harder for Usui right now huh? Gah... It's like she loves that type of guys... and not the ones that are easily ordered around... like the poor Yukimura, or pretty much every other boy in Seika.... But just please tell me something.... Are you serious that Usui is doing that? | Seriously, Usui is annoying me more and more with every episode. He's way too perfect (Usui is good at this, Usui is good at that) and he is turning Misaki into a guy-dependent twat and not let her be her own person. My god, not even letting her wear a bikini and joining the volleyball competition to make her lose even though Misaki really wants to win for Aoi's sake. Where's the independent Misaki now? So many shoujo does this that it pisses me off. They introduce a "strong" heroine just to turn her into a blushing idiot when the guy appears. Strong heroine doesn't mean she has a bold personality or know some martial arts. Its means a guy doesn't control her life and she can stay as an independent individual. |
