@DoooDooo i dont think so. this break was planned months before season 3 started airing. there are many credible sources that suggest there will be more than 16 episodes for season 3 and they will be announced after the second batch finishes in march/april. my guess is that they are trying to shorten the wait for season 3 part 2 or whatever theyre gonna call it by using a break now to get ahead on production

that scene was a bit funny because she said so many offensive things.
Regulus wanted to murder her, but the door hit him hard XD

Regulus lost my sympathy now, first I thought that guy is a little possessive but doesn't seem too bad.
That he doesn't allows his wife to show any emotions is just the right example of a toxic male with mental problems.

Maybe he should rather collect figurines...

No, it was already planned from before to be 8 episode split cour season. They have also started production for further episodes of the next arc 6. Production schedule is pretty good, we can see from the high quality of episodes

Reinhard is broke OP MC in the universe that's just lucky Subaru do most of the work for him.

Also Subaru saved Crusch's cute face and crashed the wedding. Nice. Hype for next episode. I want to see Reinhard to destroy someone.

ok Emilia was just being stupid, i thought she had some plan but in the end it looks like she was trying to piss off a extemelly dangerous guy for no reason, when the dude went in the attack she just stays there an close her eyes? wtf death wish much? NGL she deserved to get some consequences for acting so stupid, i was really hoping for a fuck around an find out scene
unfortunatelly she gets saved in the end, predictable

other than that,not that bad of an episode, since we wont get more episodes for some months ill rate it a 6/10 so far, its imo the best season this franchise has got up till this point, the story has gotten interesting compared to previous seasons at least and i dont find the characters to be that annoying anymore, most of them are still cringe though, ill probably remember that speech for the worst reasons

As usual, what an amazing episode. The buildup of character motives is neither too slow nor too fast. I also love seeing Subaru develop even more into a reliable person, even telling the likes of Reinhard that he will make up for what Reinhard cannot do. Of course the end is cathartic as well; I'm happy to see Regulus get his shit kicked in for a second there. Hopefully we get to see more of his character psychology someday; I'd love to see why he turned out this way.

@silversain2 actually in the LN emilia was ready to fight, of course she knew regulus was strong but she didn't know he was invincible.

since the anime doesn't really like emilia, they changed it to make it look like she accepted death. they always do that in every season. she had a crucial role in taking down regulus in the LN but i bet they'll just make her stand there the whole time.

i could hug ferris and crusch. i would the same as subaru to help crusch from the dragon's blood in a heartbeat. seeing crusch like that does hurt the heart. stay strong, ferris! the gang will make it right soon enough.

that's one way to end the episode: to crash a wedding that's not meant to be by heavily kicking down the church doors right into greed lol at least emilia was able to stall for time long enough for them to do that. until the next episode after a "short" winter break.

Excellent episode, I knew it was possible that some book of wisdom was still hanging around.... I understand why Otto did it, I don't trust Roswaal either and I also think in the long run he may have something in store.
I thought Crush was going to be worse (physically speaking) and I feel even more sorry for him, I like him a lot..... he still cares about others in that condition, why can Subaru absorb Crush's curse, what if he had completely done it, interesting.
How shitty it must be for someone like Felis that he can heal anyone but the person he cares about the most.
XD I guessed it was Will's wife too hahaha it wasn't that hard to guess either, this explains why they are so strong.
Someone once said: divide and conquer... or you will lose by dividing your strength haha we'll see.
What a nice entrance Subaru and Rainhard, did the door hit the archbishop? Or will he have covered it up at the last moment...well...no idea but the fights coming up.... UFFF EPIC, too bad we have to wait till february..... :(

PS: This first part is on par with RE:Zero, at the moment it fights very well against the 2nd season... we'll see if it surpasses it, at the moment the first season is unbeatable (very subjective)
