We are not talking Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg, who we seem to both acknowledge are men carried by their wealth and power rather than their looks. Like...Patrick Dempsey does fit into the conventional notion of attractiveness in virtually every other way. I think you can in fact separate money and clout here, because...look at him. | @Amityblight I guess I understand where you are coming from, but I think it is better to understand attraction in terms of concessions and bonuses rather than straight cutoffs that mainly apply to people with dwarfism or other very serious issues with appearances, at least here. A sum of all these things, so to speak. Like, I am not 6' tall, but I am also not 5'3. I think as long as you are within a pretty decent range in some respects people will holistically assess your entire appearance, and this is before attraction on a personal level. Falling within average is not really a condemnation unless you are perfectly average in all other respects or below other aspects. 6'3 might not do anything if you look like a cancer patient. 5'11 won't do anything if you are barely potty trained, which Chris-chan does appear to be incontinent. I am not a super model nor the best looking man in a room (Okay, oftentimes I am), but I am also just attractive enough for many women. Keyword being enough. I am not written off for being less than ideal in one aspect. (Really, 5'9 is only short if you say it out loud, because we have weird psychological issues with numbers. It is really not noticeable in a bar or classroom.) | To be honest I do not see it as being totally unbelievable for this to happen. It does not seem at all infeasible for some to would want to get impregnated by Chris for the attention. There are people out there who would take advantage of Chris-Chan and do this for some horribly insane and degenerate reason. More than anything, the child is legitimately in danger. Chris is popularly believed to belong in a home, and for good reason. He cannot live independently and there are way too many people out there trying to exploit him. Chris cannot take care of dogs, much less a human child. |
