| Didn't care too much for this episode. The moms fighting one another + military outbreak was cute for a bit but I felt the gag was overplayed. |

| I wonder why the teacher is wearing Lupin III's suit. Lupin himself can be seen standing by the side of the road while Mrs. Mendou's army passes by. hellogoodbye said: Didn't care too much for this episode. The moms fighting one another + military outbreak was cute for a bit but I felt the gag was overplayed. The turn at the end to Ataru's mom cheating them was pretty clever, I thought. It was neat seeing someone other than Ataru take the front stage as chief instigator of nonsense. |

| The second half of this episode was so good, one of my favorites so far. So funny seeing the equivalent of a PTA mom’s meeting turn into aerial warfare. Then Ataru’s mom somehow uniting the two factions by scamming them both lolol The first half was also funny but not quite as good. The lolicon thing is obv inappropriate but I also think that was the point. |

Clarisse and Lum were the first girls that men were ever called Lolicon for loving If any usage is incorrect it's any later applications which deviate too far from that precedent. I actually don't see that in Japan - they always correctly use it for adolescent girls, it's only westerners misinterpreting the phrase who apply it to pre-adolescent ones, which was called Heicon back in the Cybele days |

Also I think most otaku in Japan use the "new" meaning for lolicon, at least erotic content gets tagged lolicon only if the girl in question is either pre-pubescent or very small and petite to fit the physical aspect. |

| @DarkDooM2 why is it stupid? the Japanese coined lolicon and correctly applied it to adolescent girls who had experienced thelarche - you had to have boobs to be a loli There's no way to accurately canvas otaku so I'd just look at recent cases - in Shield Hero you don't see Naofumi condemn Raphtalia-admirers as lolicons until AFTER she has the growth spurt and gets boobs |
