I consider anything with a weighted score below 6.50 "hated" for the sake of answering the question based on consistent criteria, but it's completely arbitrary where you draw the line, of course. I'm well aware it's hyperbolic to claim everyone hates these series, since that clearly isn't the case. |

| Love is a strong word reserved only for pizza, and I guess family and friends as well. That aside, I'd say the biggest one was Ninja Batman. It was just the the right amount of stupid for me. I don't think it's really hated so much as no one gives a damn about it though. |

| Genma Wars gets a lot of flack, but it actually a genuinely interesting sci fi fantasy. I guess the edge scares away most of the audience. It has edgy topics like grape which probably contributed to the review bombing of it. | Not saying everyone hates this anime, but I remember Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai got a lot of hate when it was released. People were saying the whole anime was just fanservice when it really wasn't. I'm convinced some people really just watched the first scene of the first episode and just dropped it from there. Though it seems like that isn't the case anymore and a lot more people like it thankfully. |

One person promotes the narrative that *media* is bad/low quality, and other impressionable people who don't already have an established (and thus difficult to alter) opinion of the series will absorb this narrative, resulting in them approaching the anime with a negative prejudice in mind. |

| The Original Fate/Stay Night series. people hating it because of CGI dragons and the insertion of all routes within the anime while forgetting the part that aside from it being a gateway for people outside of the VN crowd to be aware of the series itself which it did as for its status now. and IMO one the best ost and on most part ending songs of the franchise and yes I'll even argue that only Fate/Zero comes close, new fates are only for visual flair ngl. I DID MY PIECE. |

| King's Game and Berserk 2016. I'm a sucker for the overlooked positive qualities of both of these. Both great music and a fun "journey" if you can suspend any personal bias against the bad points of these. There's also some absolutely incredible and memorable scenes in King's Game, with few unique tensions, and also one particularly interesting character. Wouldn't say well-written but definitely interesting and appealing! Berserk 2016 while the animation was terrible, come on it's Berserk, this is absolutely top tier in all respects. But one other negative though is some extremely important scenes were not just animated poorly but also directed poorly. And one important scene was skipped entirely which was paramount to a character's profile. And actually I do find something charming about the bad CG animation lol. |

| @LSSJ_Gaming Yes I agree. There's actually some extremely cool ideas in it! The way they make connections with the old is very underappreciated and that carries the spirit of DBZ which also had these mind-blowing connections to the original. btw gotta say. I dont think DBZ was Shakespere dialogue and Monster writing or anything, but sometimes the way DBZ story elements build on the DB past story.. it's very impressive and extremely underrated imo. I feel the writing of DBZ should get far more praise than it does and not just be labeled a "dumb shonen" since it's very clever with its world building. Also, all the DBZ/DB connections feel like very natural progressions to me (natural to the Dragonball world lmao). And they're exciting and appealing. Red Ribbon Army revenge?! Let's go! The creator was truly doing world-building like few ppl can, a real genius. I can't think of any other anime that builds on it's predecessor the way it does. And back on GT, the fans hate on it but I also feel like if GT were a fanfiction the same fans would praise that and wish it was animated lol. |
