The plot makes no sense

True, that's one of the reasons why Reign of the Seven Spellblades did the "magic school+swords+dungeons" much better.

@nhkam Already did. EVen ignoring that the plot makes no sense, Im sick of MC that helps everyone no matter how awfull those people were towards him. If the dude just waited for the monster in dungeon to rip his bully to shreds before jumping in I would most likely give this anime few more episodes. But I guess thats just another shounen anime for kids to teach them that "you should work hard and you should be good".

@Nirinbo the animation is bad most of the time, story pacing is very slow, not much to look forward to, ending was meh

I still watched it until the end, because of the swordswoman which name I already forgot

One reason I straight up deleted this series from my watch list after only watching 14 minutes was because of the "goes to magic school despite now knowing magic" trope.
Also, was quite cringe. There's a lot of anime where plot doesn't make sense but that's what makes them sometimes enjoyable to watch.

@Azuchi They literally explain it in the first minute of episode 2, but sure, do what you want.

@Alexcav999 You see, just because the show gives an "explanation" it doesn't mean that everyone has to like or agree with it. I find the show incredibly contrived and in contrast to Mashle it's not doing it in a funny way, but wants to be taken seriously. And we all know that in the end he will not only become a scholar (which he could perfectly do without magic, obviously), but *will* become one of the highest mages.
