🌷🐸 MINI CHALLENGE - SPRING BINGO 2024 🐸🌷

INTRODUCTION

This is not an official AWC yearly challenge, just a mini challenge for those that would like a way to pass the time
The AWC_mod and full AWC staff will not be involved in the process
You do NOT have to join the Yearly MAL Anime Watching Challenge - Official Club to participate in this challenge
There are no MAL badges or "rewards" for this besides the personal satisfaction of completing it
- Although if you'd like to make banners to donate they would be happily accepted
At this point in time there are no time limits for completing this challenge

HOW TO PLAY

Make a post in this thread
Copy the content of the 'Code for Sign-up' spoiler into your post
- You may change the formatting of the sign-up but make sure the font is legible and the colors aren't too bright
Choose a bingo card from the card generating website
- To change the card, change the number in the url
Your start date cannot be earlier than the date you make your post
- Previously started/rewatched anime are not allowed
Watch anime until you complete one of the bingo patterns
- If you really don't like bingo you can play by choosing a bingo pattern and completing the number of items required to finish it
- Each MAL anime entry can only be used once during the challenge
- Use the main anime title exactly as it appears on its MAL page and include a link to the page
- Specify the dates each anime was started/completed in the sign-up form using a standard date format [MMM DD]
1 - Umbrella (13 items) | 2 - Tulip (14 items) | 3 - Sunshine (16 items) | 4 - Spring Shower (25 items)
Delete any items that are not needed to finish your bingo pattern
You may complete this challenge a maximum of four times but you can only complete each bingo pattern once
- Make a new post for each new attempt
- You can pick a new bingo card for each attempt
- Each new attempt must only be started after the previous one's Challenge Finish Date
Once finished post the content of the 'Code for Turn-in' spoiler at the bottom of your sign-up post

BINGO LIST WITH EXPLANATIONS

(01) Watch a TV-Type anime that has at least 10 episodes
— The episodes can be any length
(02) Watch an afternoon/evening anime (broadcast between 17:00 and 22:59 JST)
— There is a list created by Nyomdalee if you want some ideas
(03) Watch an anime that started airing in a year ending in '4'
— The anime can finish airing in a year that doesn't end in 4
(04) Watch an anime that started airing in a Spring season (Apr, May, Jun)
— If it's a TV Type it MUST say that it Premiered 'Spring XXXX'
— If it's a non-TV anime it MUST appear when you look under the corresponding Spring "Seasonal Anime page
(05) Watch an anime that finished airing in May or June and has a total duration of 15 minutes or more
— Anime can start airing any month/day/year and can finish airing any day/year
— Movies and other anime types that aired completely in a single day are valid (Example: Promare)
(06) Watch an anime tagged with the Adventure genre that has a MAL score of 7.50 or less
— A screenshot is recommended if the anime score is close to 7.50 when finishing the item
(07) Watch an anime tagged with the Supernatural genre on MAL that has a total duration of 15 minutes or more
(08) Watch an anime tagged with the Music genre on MAL that has a total duration of 5 minutes or more
(09) Watch an anime that is tagged with at least two of the following genres on MAL: Action | Comedy | Drama | Romance | Slice of Life
(10) Watch an anime that has a main title containing at least two of the letters from "S" "P" "R" "I" "N" "G"
— Alternative titles do NOT count
— Having the same letter more than once is allowed but will only count as one of the two required letters
(11) Watch an anime that has a main title containing at least two of the letters from "R" "A" "I" "N" "D" "R" "O" "P"
— Alternative titles do NOT count
— Having the same letter more than once is allowed but will only count as one of the two required letters
(12) Watch an anime that is adapted from a Card Game or Game Source according to MAL
— The source must be listed on MAL in order to be valid
— You can use the Card Game and Game lists created by Nyomdalee if you need some ideas
— Do not mistake this for the Video Game THEME
(13) Watch an anime that has 60,000 or less Members on MAL
— Members are the far right numbers on an anime's main page
(14) Watch an anime that is made by a Studio from which you've watched 5 anime or less
— Providing a screenshot from Anime+ of the number of anime watched from the studio is recommended
— Anime that are on your Watching, On Hold, and Dropped lists DO COUNT towards the 5
— The Studio can be listed as the Producer
(15) Watch an anime that is related to an anime you completed before your challenge post date
— Example: If you made your challenge post on March 15, 2024, then the related anime must have been watched on or before March 15, 2024
— The related anime must be recorded as Completed on your MAL list
— You must use the challenge post date of the bingo attempt you're on, NOT the one for any prior attempts
— Can be Sequel, Spin-off, Alternative Version, Parent Story, etc.
(16) Watch an anime that has the number 53 in its MAL url
— Examples: Juuni Kokuki, New Game!, Sakamichi no Apollon
(17) Watch an anime that has a main title starting with the same first letter/number as your MAL username
— If your username starts with a non-standard character (such as - * _ @ ~) the anime must start with a non-standard character (anything that isn't a number or a letter)
(18) Watch an anime that is tagged with your Favorite Genre/Theme/Demographic by Days according to your MAL Statistics
— Under your profile pic there is a Statistics link. Go to the Genres tab and sort the anime by Days
— A screenshot MUST be provided in order to be valid
— Genres, Themes, and Demographics MUST be checked; you CAN skip Explicit if you wish
— If you have watched every anime tagged with your top one, you may use the next highest on the list
(19) Watch an anime that has a plant on one of it's MAL cover Pictures
— The Picture tab is on the right side when you're looking at an anime's MAL page
— Grass, flowers, vines, trees, etc.
— Examples: Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru, 30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii, Natsume Yuujinchou
(20) Watch an anime that has a character (main or supporting) with Purple, Blue, or Pink hair
— At least 50% of the hair must be one of the listed colors in order to be valid
(21) Watch an anime that was already completed by a participant for the 🎄🎅 Mini Challenge - Winter Bingo 2023 🎅🎄 challenge
— Anime must be completed by the participant BEFORE you start the anime
— You did not have to participate in the Winter Bingo to use this item
(22) Watch an anime that is on the "Hidden Gems" or "Most Obscure" List of a Yearly MAL Anime Watching Challenge club member
— These are found on the "Scores" tab when you click the "All Anime Stats" button on a MAL user's page
— You may use the "Past Year" filter but include that line in your screenshot
— User MUST be a member of the AWC Club (linked above) and a screenshot must be provided
(23) Watch an anime that is tagged with Hanami or has a character tagged with Flower on AniDB
— In order to be valid, the anime chosen MUST be listed on one of the provided lists
(24) Watch an anime that has a character who is tagged with Hat or an Umbrella on AniDB
— In order to be valid, the anime chosen MUST be listed on one of the provided lists
(25) Watch an anime that is tagged with laser blaster or light saber on AniDB
— In order to be valid, the anime chosen MUST be listed on one of the provided lists
