| In episode 62 of Hunter x Hunter, titled "Defeat and Disgrace," Gon and Killua face off against Knuckle and Shoot in a challenging battle during the 13th Hunter Exam. The episode showcases the exceptional combat skills and strategic thinking of both teams as they utilize their Nen abilities to gain an advantage over each other. Tensions rise as the stakes get higher, and the episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next episode to see how the battle unfolds. | Fantastic episode yet again. I love how the Zoldyck's just decided to stop fighting Chrollo, they're in it for the business after all. A lot of disturbing scenes though, the Don's being controlled like that and even the auctioneer. Having the ability to make a copy of every single item like that and also being able to make fake copies of themselves (which somehow needed to be said by Hisoka? - Not like we didn't know they weren't actually dead lol) All in all, very strong series, they shifted the tone a lot compared to the first 2 arcs even if they were already taking death very lightly in the series. There's a level of maturity to it especially with the current arc which is not all too common with a lot of "shounen" anime. The only thing is that the delivery of the lines felt a bit flat at times. Definitely excited to delve more into it with the OVA and sequels. |
