| Black and the cat make a great duo. A stray cat often seen at the usual convenience store. The cat, who was usually aloof to Warumono was rubbing up against a stranger. To the shocked Warumono, the man who left after entrusting cat treats was none other than a member of Rangers, Black. Meanwhile, Red dreams of fighting back against the demonized bad person by throwing beans. The Rangers were enjoying Setsubun at their home. Meanwhile, Warumono also visited the Setsubun-mode shopping district, and ended up being overwhelmed by the classic winter delicacies of Earth. Introducing the new Black Ranger! And these twins... They seemed super smart at first, but now they're just normal. Black with the twins is cute, and Red calling him the "Kind Man from The Evil Organization" is oddly sweet. Wonder if he gave Red Google Maps powers? And revenge? Ice cream, obviously. That morale-boosting panda sounds awesome. Feeling bad for not having one. And changing costumes mid-air? That's seriously cool. Wouldn't expect less from Warumono. Seems like the next episode is ranger-focused. Should be a treat. Mr. Cat stays cute, always with Black. Hope Warumono doesn't find out. |

| From Wikipedia: Setsubun (節分) is the day before the beginning of spring in the old calendar in Japan. The name literally means 'seasonal division', referring to the day just before the first day of spring in the traditional calendar, known as Setsubun. The main ritual associated with the observance of Setsubun is mamemaki (豆撒き, 'bean scattering'); this ritual sees roasted soybeans (known as fukumame (福豆, 'fortune beans')) either thrown out of the front door, or at a member of the family wearing an oni (demon or ogre) mask while shouting 'Devils out! Fortune in!' (鬼は外! 福は内!, Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!), before slamming the door. The beans are thought to symbolically purify the home by driving away the evil spirits that bring misfortune and bad health with them. Then, as part of bringing luck in, it is customary to eat roasted soybeans, one for each year of one's life (kazoedoshi), plus one more for bringing good luck for the year. He is starting to understand cats' magnificence mwehehehe Bäagen-Kazs is a parody on Häagen-Dazs. Or I guess everyone already knows this, because it's an American brand? Idk, I personally never heard of Häagen-Dazs before I started watching anime (^^)' I'm loving the super epic soundtrack I actually haven't eaten instant noodles in so long. I'm craving some now. Japanese people consider taking a bath every day the norm. I think it's too much. Bathing is really important in Japanese culture though, so yeah. Thanks panda 🙏. Maybe I should get a plushie that would judge me for bad decisions too lol Episode focused on the rangers and their backstories next, nice! |

| cats are cute huh i've always had 2 or more and my mom also has 2 or more, so between mine and when i visit her... there's plenty of nekos :D the rangers parts are kinda interesting, i like how the 2 kids were waiting for the guy to come home, and red even dream with mc, as well as his sense of direction lol next episode might focus more on them the power going down when too much stuff works at the same time, that happens sometimes kinda funny how he wants to skip doing stuff but the panda plushie is looking at him |

| AS ALWAYS simply the most soothing episode. it's great moodsetter after a tiring day of work/study. Simply the best slice of life anime yet I've seen. Great episode. General Warumono being jealous of Black being able to pet the cat. Heh. He's finally comprehending the awesomeness & the dignified air the most appealing pet creature! a Cat! How impeccable of Mr.Shogun-sama.  A pity I have to wait for the next episode. But 'tis the essence of truly savouring this series I suppose. I can wait. Blehhh. |

| Warumono's been seeing this cat at the back of the convenience store...but it seems that someone else is also taking care of it and happens to be more favourable to him. Turns out, the jealous Warumono has no idea that he is Ranger Black, always acting like an owl and disappearing at night, and he is stuck to being petted by the cat's cute purrs. Ranger Red's demon extermination with soybeans, he is just daydreaming in his sleep...and Warumono's thinking more of the same. Though being given mochi, he's being serviced by the elderly to taste all the different variations of soybean mochi, and it's good. Having ice cream for a break and making his coffee on a panda cup, Warumono's about to have the treat, until all of the urgent reports come in simultaneously to stop him from eating it. Thankfully, the ice cream is still rather solid, aside from the melting edges. And that's not enough...since he has early dinner, it's supper time, with panda cup noodles at his face...and its still good stuff after working from home. But skipping a day's bath, while not acceptable, the panda on the sofa forces him to do so, and he cleans up in the cleanest way possible. If that's not enough, a blackout after microwaving a bowl of gratin, it's just his hairdryer tripping the breaker. A perfect day for Warumono, what awaits him the next? |

| Mugi and Sora are very weird. Showering is my favorite part of the day tbh Did he end up eating the food he microwaved after brushing his teeth? I wish Red was outside taking a stroll when the villain was outside with the hairdryer |
