| I really like Wirbel. Though he's a hardened veteran, he still manages to maintain a grip on his morals. I'm not sure if that's the case for Denken, though. Sure, it might seem like it, as he's told Richter twice now to go easy on Frieren's party members since they're just girls, but something tells me his true motives are less noble than they appear to be. Just a hunch. Honestly, though, these episodes keep feeling shorter and shorter...yet the clock already shows it's morning here 😂 But I just need to watch one more episode to finish catching up now, and I can't wait to see how Frieren vs. Denken is going to turn out! 🤩 |

| Haha i like how they stakes death for their battle but actually none goin to die because its not worth killing someone just for one damn title. Wirbel at first like a rough guy, willing to do anything even to killing just to get what he wanted, especially since he's coming from the mercenary band. However, he had moral and backed off, making him instantly changed into a kind one, and instantly rewarded with luck beyond understanding with that Stille random arrival. Pretty cool, eh? While Fern manage to live a good day, Frieren and co still needs to take down Denken party. Old man seems had a high standard. But shall it be enough to be the reason to hold the ground? Ah, and one more thing, that godly elf mage that being called as a living grimoire tho, finally revealed her name, Serie. Wonder if Frieren actually already know her and become one of the 11 mage whose manage to best her in the past.... |

| Getting to know a little bit more about some of the other members taking part was nice I guess, Wirbel for example acting not quite how you might've thought he would. Fern being able to trick him with that lie was something I wasn't expecting. We did also have our first mention of this "Serie" who seems to be a powerful mage. With an end like that it definitely looks like we'll be seeing Frieren and Denken clash. |

| Fern is really something else! Most mages can't beat her, but it'll be some time before she'll match Frieren's level. Speaking of Frieren, she has to handle that old man, and Frieren's two team members that to handle quake man. How will it all go down? |

| I know the ice-mage's name is Lawine but the dub is really making it sound like it's Levina/Lawina (?) Anyway, the small bits of action we got were fun and I'm glad we're seeing more of these side-character mages and their character motivations |
| It can't be help that Frieren surprises me. It's slice of life for many of its episodes, but it's now battle shounen with some dialogues and flashback. It used to be relaxing. Now, I feel I have to watch the next episode now. |

| Now that's interesting! I didn't expect another prize than getting a prestigious title of 1st Class Mage. And a prize that's basically granting one's wish. Could it be that the mysterious overpowered mage is that elf mage with whom Frieren lost a fight in the past? She mentioned someone like that before. Putting it aside, Frieren vs. Denken will be very interesting to watch. Something tells me that Frieren will eliminate him, so the other team members can hand out the stolen stille, as their team will no longer be full. But we will see. Surely this fight will look great. |
| Did Wirbel's party deserve the absolute luck that was the Stella just appearing in front of them when they were defeated? Not sure, but it definitely did make me feel a little happy inside. |
| We keep hearing about how normal the defensive and offensive techniques Frieren taught Fern but we never really think about the what makes them "normal" and "basic" until we see some supposedly less powerful folks straight up pull out Avatar tear spells that can freeze massive bodies of water and erect mountains in seconds. |

| So that elf Serie is a female, Frieren stopped for a moment when she heard her name now I’m sure she had a long past with her, I doubt she is her sibling most likely she is her friend. |

Oh, you can use shields? BRRRRRRRRT. Oh, you want to fight in a close quarter? BRRRRRRRRT. I feel so proud to see her battle, and the monotone expression she has over her opponents just make her seem so invulnerable, it's awesome. Ah, so that's how it is... Wirbel has killed a lot of people before, even women and children, but he kills with a purpose, he's even hesitant to kill others and needs the time to build the courage. He's fundamentally kidhearted despite his looks, the way he treats his teammates suggests that much. On the other hand, I was not wrong about Übel. She's a killer who would not hesitate to kill and would have no qualms about doing so. Her type of magic to slash and cleave with no visible trajectory might hint that she used to be an assassin. That 5m range is plenty to kill an enemy from the shadow. Not to mention her fighting style which comprised of getting up close and physically slashing her opponent with her combat staff. Yeah, we got a hottie fo sho. She's perfect the way she is. |
