'Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai' Announces Additional Cast

The official website of the Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai (Prince Without a Servant: The Chronicle of Yatagarasu) television anime revealed four additional cast and a second key visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on NHK in April 2024.

Cast
Asebi: Rina Honizumi (Ore dake Level Up na Ken)
Hamayuu: Hiroki Nanami (Bishounen Tanteidan)
Masuho no Susuki: Ayaka Fukuhara (Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san)
Shiratama: Rie Kugimiya (Kingdom)

Yoshiaki Kyougoku (Yuru Camp△) helms the anime at Pierrot. Yukiko Yamamuro is handling the series composition and Takushige Norita (Break Blade) is designing the characters. Eishi Segawa (Ushio to Tora (TV)) is composing the music.

Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai is the second volume of the first part of Chisato Abe's Yatagarasu novel series, published by Bungeishunjuu in July 2013. The first part of the novel series was released from June 2012 to May 2018.

Bungeishunjuu published the first volume of the second part in September 2020, with the fourth volume scheduled for a February 22 release.

Natsumi Matsuzaki began serializing a manga adaptation of Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai in Evening magazine in August 2020. Kodansha shipped the fourth volume in February 2023.

@Memore I saw this when I was searching the series. "Vol.1 and Vol.2 take place simultaneously; you can start reading from either of them." https://books.bunshun.jp/sp/karasu_e

Maybe volume 2 is just more interesting or popular
