| Nah, it's not. For live action, other than those Hollywood movies, I like chinese, japanese, and korean drammas way more than Bollywood shows. Too much dancing and bad cgi/effects, and barely any substance for a show 5x as long as your average live action from other countries. But 3 Idiots is quite entertaining, I'll give you that, and only that. |

| No, because its made in India, which are historically terrible at marketing, distributing, and business practices with their media industry. Plus some of their sensibilities and tropes just do not make sense to western audiences, so they fail at the appeal factor. |

| To tell you the truth, judging by the few movies I watched that was made by Bollywood, there is not much difference between the quality of them and those that were made by Hollywood (the same trash coming from different countries). They both make products that aim to please the broad masses, the differences come only from the culture they are based on. Anime is more pleasing to my senses (even if it is a "mass product" as well), but if I want to watch movies I would rather watch european or east-asian films than american or indian. |
