Maki by far it's not even close. Her arc developed her phenomenally, which all of the other female characters lack. The whole female cast is kinda boring and just there to fight without any reason or depth

idk if I'd say she was wasted since I think it was a pretty crazy thing for Gege to pull so I respect it... But yeah if she further developed she would've definitely been one of my favourite characters. Still don't think she'd be better than Maki (since she's my favourite in general), but she definitely could've grown similarly to Yuji who I also have just continued to love the more we see of him

Maki easily, no competition whatsoever. Yuki had the potential but was unfortunately killed off too soon

Mei Mei is just eye candy, if she had more development and depth then perhaps she'd stand a chance but otherwise, Maki and Nobara are better written.

don't particularly like any but i guess nobara, shame how that turned out. didn't really care about maki while reading but maybe the anime can change my mind on that.

Maki easily, but tbh JJK is lacking heavily in terms of memorable women characters. If Maki as a character didn't even exist in this series, it's probably safe to say that there wouldn't be any noteworthy women characters period.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

Maki very easily.

I liked Yuki Tsukumo a lot as well, but Gege did her dirty imo. Nobara and Utahime are alright ig. Mei Mei is strong but that's about it. All that stuff with her brother grossed me out a bit tho, which is why I didn't care much about her. Shoko didn't even get enough screentime lol, so can't even say anything about her character. Mai was kinda annoying but I liked her conclusion and her dynamic with Maki.

I don't get the point of spreading hate comments like "all are lacking" when you are literally asked to choose the "better" one.

Maki, Shoko and Nobara.

Loved Mei Mei until that particular scene with her brother happended.... But she's still beautiful. I prefer her old hairstyle tho.
