First of all, don't start "eating" me in the comments about other shows with better animation. What i am focusing on in this particular anime is the way they made the transitions.

If you have not seen it, it's fine, but for me how some scenes overlap each other with certain objects, time to time, makes me enjoy the show a tinny bit more.

So, if you have seen it, what are your thoughts? Did some also enjoy how some scenes progress or not?

I fucking love the EDs animation. it adds a sort of surrealism and I'm a big fan of it.

I love their animation, it’s not like demon slayer flashy animation but very subtle and well done. Transitions as you mentioned are great but for me what I love the most is how they animate a scene or more specifically the characters and their backgrounds to match the emotions they are feeling. It feels like they describe the character emotions and feelings with animation and facial expressions rather than with words.

I agree, I think the way and direction of the animation really helped with the enjoyment of the show, especially with the expression of emotions and comedic moments.

Although I will say that, as a manga reader, I thought that the characters design were not as beautiful as the art in the original work, which was the ONLY aspect I can really point to negatively in the adaptation aspect.

Overall, I think it was a pretty good adaptation and was able to differentiate, from other "cookie-cuter" romances shows, because of the more mature theme and animation direction.

It has the same production staff and director as Chihayafuru, so of course I'm going to love the animation

Agree. The best part of this anime is how wisely they use the transitions. Those transitions are impressive and memorable. I love how they end the episodes as well, it's always at the weird time but with surprises and shocks.

That's more editing and planning than animation.
