| Ha, the life of Konosuba adventurers. But hey, at least Megumin isn't alone and is joined by Yunyun as her partner. It was an amusing episode yet also dangerous for them when they encountered that demon. Happy to see more of Cecily in this episode. She adds some natural chemistry into this show with the cast. |

| With Megumin and Yunyun on their own as a party together, defeating the common frogs and seeing more of Kazuma and Aqua's exploits. But a horde of rabbits that summoned the high-rank demon Host who acts out of character looking for a giant, ebon magic beast called the Rookie Slayer, and they definitely drawn him in at the worst possible time. And since the Adventurer's Guild wants it defeated, the reward is huge for all involved in the quest. Megumin's idea of being scouted rather than being the scout, it can work to a certain degree, but the demon is proving too much for typical adventurers to defeat at this point. The hope of the Axis Sect's arch priest...it definitely sounds like Aqua (and it is), but they (and even Megumin too) got hoodwinked from her shabby outfit. Cecily budging into Megumin's locked room unannounced with a message for her on Aqua's source to disrupt the demon, it's more like she's infatuated with Megumin more than anything, that show her money, she'll obliege to the offer. The warrant search for Aqua is proving harder than most, even going to the Eris Sect to search for her, and Cecily is just unhinged lols. Chomusuke sensing a soul in the graveyard, and both girls are scaredy cats enough to run on their tail. The strongest adventurer team acquiring both Crimson Demon girls' services, and the Rookie Killer isn't so much of a challenge...until Host comes because it has sensed of Lady Wolbach (who is obviously Chomusuke), whom other than her familiar cat, he doesn't want to get into trouble, and just wants Chomusuke for themselves. What's the resolution: to hand over Chomusuke to Host, or fight against him? The choice can only be one. |

| Megumin looks bored since the one spell she has is completly uneffective in such closed terrain. Even demon's like their dramatic intros huh. Nice to see Wiz here even as just a voice. Figures that Aqua was the one that Luna was hinting at. Cecily's like a curse that you just can't get away from. Srill quite the offer she had. First time i seen a nun try and kick down a door though lol. Negotiating with a demon looks like a tense affair. Overall a pretty fun ep that balanced out the comedy aspect with some nice tension in the form of Host and the threat he posed to the town. Celily's a literal riot when it comes to interactions with the Eris church. |

| Most they’ve teased Aqua and the original cast this entire season. Got a wiz cameo as well. The Axis church priest wanting megumin to blow up the church got me dying man ๐ Surprisingly tense and serious episode as well. Obviously we know that the town will survive, but I wonder how they deal with the demon next week. One more episode |

| Now, two questions arise: How many blue haired woman there is in Axel? Second, if Luna consider giving Aqua beauty as description trait, shouldn't Aqua beauty be very present anyways, even after a rough day of construction work? Cecily is fun. |

| Even more cameos in addition to Kazuma and Aqua. There's the undead called Wiz and there's also that hero guy whose name I forgot. I think it's annoying that they're hiding the faces of old characters. We already know what they look like. So what's the point of not showing them? Mix Season 2 is doing the same thing in this season but at least in that case, we know the character trying to remember them has amnesia. So he can't quite remember their faces from 3 decades ago. Here it doesn't make much sense. So after Arnes died Host is here to retrieve Wolbach aka Chomusuke? Just what's so special about this cat? I really wanna know its secret... Cecily is back! Love that pervert. I wish she was around for longer. I think it's funny how everyone's trying to find Aqua but she's right under everyone's noses. Just because the attendant gave the wrong/outdated information to work with. With only one episode left, I wonder how it'll work out. Will it really end with Megumin introducing herself to the group as she did in Season 1? Cause I kinda doubt it. I don't remember these plotpoints being mentioned in the main series. But then again, it's been a long time since I watched Season 1. |
| No Aqua looks good in any outfit and getup, so I've no idea how those goons didn't get it was her even after the description matched lol. Now we're somehow near the last episode. Knowing things, I'm just kind of curious whatever happened to Cecily and Yunyun that we didn't get a chance to meet one of them at all and met the other way later in the series. |

| Those rabbits triggered my Re:Zero PTSD lol Afrer Arnes has been defeated, now Host is trying to take Chomusuke. I wonder how Megumin would react if she found out he's Komekko's familiar now. Everyone is looking for the arch-priest with stats through the roof and the beauty of a goddess but no one can believe it's the dirty worker/street performer who tries to scam people. I'm glad to see Cecily again, I love her antics and her thirsting after Megumin. While Megumin thinks an arch-priest would be praying in the church or helping the dead, Cecily thinks in the exact same way as Aqua. I'd love to see how those two would get along. We got some nice Wiz cameos in the episode too, she scared Megumin and Cecily in the graveyard and they both tried running away while leaving the other one alone. Poor Yunyun waited all night and no one tried to scout her. Her luck changed briefly after catching the Rookie Slayer but then Host had to come and beat her prospective party into a pulp. |
| Just like with the previous episode, the Aqua and Kazuma cameos always succeeds in making me laugh and smile. Wiz also got her own short cameo as well in supplying a lot of adventurers with potions, which was nice. Cecily also made her return and she was hilarious. She didn't hide her attachment to Megumin and going as far as sniffing the bed sheets of Megumin's bed, to trashing the window of the Eris Church and then pulling a prank on Megumin at night in a nearby cemetery, which made me burst out in hysterics. XD Putting the comedy aside, Host is now on the search for Lady Wolbach, or Chomusuke, and you can tell that he's not holding back with his threats, even towards Megumin and Yunyun. I do look forward to seeing how he'll be dealt with in the final episode next week. |

| Another day in Axel, more insanity and Kazuma and Aqua teases lol, there were some nice ones in there, and of course no one can find Aqua because she’s been working construction and has a personality that makes you think anything but a goddess lol. And that big demon guy Host is back too, and he’s also looking for Chomusuke just like Arnes was, and the track record so far is that anyone that’s after Chomusuke gets a face full of explosion so I doubt it will go well for Host lol. I also really enjoyed Cecily’s bit in this one, she’s just a really fun character, I especially liked when she was fucking with the church lol, the visual is so good, and of course I loved the graveyard bit too, Wiz is pretty spooky I suppose lol. And we got one episode left, it’s been a good spin-off, definitely enjoyed it a lot. |

| I really didn't think we'd see Cecily again, but holy shit she's been gone for like 2 episodes but it feels like they cranked her up by 1000. She's so absolutely unhinged, whether that be around Megumin or the Eris church, and it honestly caught me off guard. But honestly in general, the amount of crazy she can radiate knda makes me like her more. I'm surprised we never saw her in the main series considering how wild her character is, she would have made for some great scenes with the full cast. Damn seeing a hoard of white horned rabbit actually gave me chills. My RE: Zero trauma went into overdrive. |

| I'm trying to reconcile the stakes of this conflict with Host with how Axel was presented in the early episodes of Konosuba S1. All of this is happening while Kazuma and Aqua are in town during that early working montage from the original first episode, right? If that's the case, surely something this big couldn't have happened without Kazuma and Aqua either becoming aware of it or there even being some background evidence of something big happening? After all, everyone is looking for Aqua in this episode and yet we're supposed to believe there wasn't even a hint of this stuff in the original? Furthermore, we're being shown Megumin seeing what Aqua and Kazuma are like in their early moments in Axel, but no hint of her previously knowing them when she ended up joining their party? Forcing in the cameos and trying to force ending the season on a big battle is making this make much less sense than it should from a timeline perspective. Also, why are they continuing to hide Kazuma and Aqua's faces like this? |

| A giant Demon threatening everyone and a whole city looking for Aqua yet none of this was addressed in S1 as far as I remember. Seriously, I sometimes wonder if the author wrote this spin-off without even giving the main manga a re-read. |

| i dont think this conflicts with the first episodes, at least so far but even if it did i dont think that d be a problem, the main issue is that this isnt particularly funny |
