| The backstory episodes are always among the best of the series, i thought Koito's was one of the weaker ones, still pretty entertaining. Tsurumi channeling his inner gigachad with that wink LOL |

| I'm a little surprised as to how much they changed the initial meeting between Tsurumi and Koito, the manga had him simply run over Tsurumi and apologize immediately and bond over the loss of his brother etc. but the anime decided to base Koito's awe of Tsurumi more on the fact that Tsurumi was the first adult to stand up to him etc. |
| It's funny how some people calls this flashback unimportant, considering And Koito relationship with Tsurumi also important part of the story. |

One of the kidnappers calls Koito barchonok, the same word Ogata calls Koito later on in the timeline. The implication is that Ogata was one of the kidnappers, meaning the whole thing was staged by Tsurumi. At the time of the flashback, Koito wouldn't have been able to figure it out. It's only after he hears barchonok from Ogata that he's able to make the connection in hindsight. |

| Great episode! I came out of it respecting Tsurumi's spy, thinking, strategy, planning and leadership capabilities. Also that "bike" chase when he was doing all that leaning, the "stare" at those women, and the blow up that left them both shirtless, that was epic. Hats off to the animators, one of the most memorable sequences I've seen this season, would be the top if not for that bit from Akiba Maid War #1. |

| That was obviously world-class manliness. Nothing compares to busting your bike and proudly marching in air, true pioneers of their craft in these days. Many diff allusions to diff characters. Good to have the old bird back. Let's see if this season can gain some momentum again. |

| Holy shit…. I never get used to how manipulative and intelligent Tsurumi is but this really was mind blowing! He ensured both Koito AND his father’s loyalty in one sitting! Evil genius! Also can we talk about how god damn handsome young Tsurumi is?! 😍 |
