| Ah, it feels like it has been so long since I've seen classic, funny, original & yet completely off & cringe worthy subs. I guess when it's a turn your brain off power fantasy that doesn't rely on a strong plot you can just sit back & laugh at it. |

| So I guess I'm the only one who actually enjoyed the fansubs then, they were quite funny Nice first episode otherwise, a bit rushed according to a LN-reading friend but as an anime-only it felt ok, lot of things happened and they seemed to have speedran the whole floor but I won't complain it didn't disturb me and we got plenty of nice moments |
| the fansubs were fun but some stuff was missing; i hope they step it up a bit next time. it felt rushed but at least it's not like demon school were it took 2 months just to get over day one of the competition. |

| This is one of my most anticipated shows of this season. I'm so happy to see these characters again. Nice first episode. I liked the Christmas theme. Mapple looked cute in that reindeer oufit. :3 |

Anyways, decent start for this second season. Maple continues to be as endearing as I remember (her suddenly becoming useless when teaming up with Payne was weird tho) and man, I totally forgot Hayami Saori was in the cast. Noice! |

| I binged season 1 a couple weeks ago, in preparation for season 2 to come out. So as an Isekai, this show is absolutely terrible, the world building and power scaling make no sense, and the plot is typical rpg game advancement, so not much "plot." 5/10 at best. HOWEVER, if I view this show not as an Isekai, but as a "cute girls doing cute things" anime, then it is way more enjoyable, and that's what this show really is, a cgdct anime wearing an Isekai costume. It is really fun to just watch Maple fumble around, randomly acquiring insane power ups, and just generally being a dopey character, who doesn't really know what she is doing. Solid 7.5/10. And this first episode of season 2 definitely shows that we will be getting more of that, and I'm here for it. This felt more like a Christmas ova then a real first episode, which makes sense since they aired it several weeks in advance. The Christmas costumes were adorable, and loli Kasumi kind of came out of nowhere, lol. But im ok with it. A super busty character randomly getting turned into a loli is one of my favorite gimmicks, so I won't complain. Looking forward to the rest of season 2. |

| I'm wondering was that one episode part of the 12 episodes for season 2 or more like a Christmas Special, I'd very much like it not to be part of the 12 episodes of season 2, not that it was bad or anything, just that it doesn't really feel like a season 2 episode and checking schedule sites, they all have listed episode 1 for today. So I'm kinda confused. |
| Maple is adorable as ever and everyone's now cooperating with each other in the new event. It was a pretty cute start but Maple is the only one who got a Reindeer suit. LOL. Looking forward to the next episode. Tho, those fansubs were horrible. So, I'm probably gonna rewatch the episode with actual subs. LOL |

| Junjou no Afilia's 2nd OP is a fine follow-up, though I say that Season 1's OP is still the memorable song even 3 years later. It's been 3 years, and Maple and the cast are back, doing what they always do best. As usual, Sally and Frederica are always rivals in heat, and Mii...is just floating in the cat zoo, something that Maple caught her eyes on as her personal secret side from keeping up the guildmaster act. For a great Christmas, they all have to work harder than ever, and this is true for Kasumi, who has yet to complete her own quest, and gain her new weapon, which looks great...but has a side effect of turning her into a child for 10 minutes. The 6th event of Christmas items scattered around for a collectathon, the unexpected teamwork of Maple with Payne is important for driving the game developers out of whack. And since they can't do anything, they can only collect data on Maple. All that culminates in the Christmas setting where everyone got different gifts for new armour and weapons...everyone except Maple in her reindeer onesie. Here's to more adventures ahead. Glad to be back, Bofuri! |

| Mii: I just want to play with those cute little cats. lmao... I love Kasumi's new sword/costume. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I hope she will use it more in the future, even though, it has a drawback that will turn her into a loli form. Which, I don't think that she likes it. |

| Are they streaming the same episode as in Dec. 2022 today, I thought we would actually get a new episode today. Very disappointed, if so that answers my earlier question and indeed it was part of the second season and not as hoped a Christmas Special. |

| First, I want to say that they indeed made the setting look more lively or at least more fantasy/JRPG-like. The OP theme song is also kinda catchy. Got to see some of the combat skills again but seriously, Frederica made herself look like a fool. It seems the production quality of this episode has improved? At least that's the impression I'm getting so far. Good start and happy to see the main cast back especially Sally and Maple. Kasumi's appearance this episode though LOL |

| I just finished Season 1 a couple days ago, so this feels right at home for me. Those new looks for Kasumi and Mii were quite the shock, and pretty hilarious. Also, the production seems to look better than last season, and I'm glad to see it. Should be a fun season! |
| Nice to get more Bofuri in our lives 3 years later. It's not a groundbreaking series by any stretch but it's a relaxing show to watch when you want something that isn't very serious. Looking forward to more of Maple and friends' in-game adventures. |

| While I didn't watch season one when it first came out, when I did eventually watch it 2 years ago, I fell in love with the cast and their adventures. I have a big soft spot of this series and it has been one of my most anticipated anime for this Winter season. The only main downside with the first episode was that the pacing felt a bit too fast for my liking, but aside from that, this episode itself was great. I can see why it was shown as a pre-air late last month since it had a nice Christmas theme to it! =D As with the first season, Silver Link did a really good job with the production quality with this episode, with a lot of the combat having some nice fluidity to the movements and attacks. Special mention to Kasumi's new sword turning her into a loli, which was rather cute. Same with Mii and the "cats" that she and Maple had fun with, too! I look forward to seeing how the rest of the second season plays out. As long as it makes me relaxed and smile, then it's done its job perfectly. ^_^ |
