| Yup, still funny remade, Rei proposing to Lum but interrupting random couples while doing so. I heard Inuyasha and Kagome's voices again in the park scene. That's a relief for Atarau's dad, his wife was speaking about the parent-teacher form not divorce form. |

When I see Rei I have to think of Ryoga from Ranma 1/2 lol Finally, i thought i was the only one since 2006 when i first watched the original anime early episodes. To be honest, back then, i had already seen Ranma 1/2 in its entirety before Urusei Yatsura despite the latter being the older series. Rumiko is great but it's no mistery that sometimes she recycled some character looks for her next projects (Myoga from Inuyasha is basically Happosai with a flea-like mouth and even smaller). This was very entertaining overall, including her mother wearing makeup on purpose just to serve Ryoga-with-horns (ok, i'll stop) some food, tricking the audience by showing her husband what seemed like divorce papers, and of course the entire bit with Ran meeting her crush way earlier compared to the 1981 version. Next episode is going to be full of hype and it would be amazing to have Ataru's dad and Lum's mother talking to each other, 'cause, everyone knows at this point... |

| They actually handled this really well, although a bit fast paced. Ataru's mom deserves better than vanilla dad. Such a fine lady. Althoug maybe not Rei, he's a bit too much. Next episode will be fire if it's what I think it is. |

| Ok this was a meaningful episode imho, with many hints of social commentary. It was also fun, although it doesn't stand out in that sense. Kinda hyped about the next episode with the parents-teachers meeting |
