| You would start at volume 16 I'm pretty sure. But just so you know, the light novel is only officially translated up to the end of arc 5 (will be season 3 of the anime). The alternative is to read the web novel, which is both free and fan translated basically all the way to the current chapter releases, up to about what would be season 5 of the anime. I'd recommend reading the light novel for arc 5, I haven't but most people say it's better than the web novel counterpart. After that switch to the web novel at https://witchculttranslation.com/ but just so you know there's an important moment at the end of arc 4 that was cut out from the end of season 2 of the anime that you should make sure to read (the Appendix: Advent chapter). | Read from first volume because a lot of content skipped in Arc 3 (second half of Season 1) is mentioned in Arc 5 (Season 3). |
