| - Everyone gets invited to a "party", Suletta uses this just to see if Elan comes. - It's 100% confirmed that the Elan she knew was a clone and was disposed of, the real deal goes to the party to meet with her and "sort things out" through white lies Turns out the party is a set up to expose that the Gundam Suletta uses, is, in fact, a Gundam, alongside the other gundam Elan uses, which is also a gundam, but one that fucks it's user - Miorine steps in to "protect" her (Yuri fanboys will probably bloom this episode just for this interaction alone) by trying to make business out of a Gundam (???) and ask the people there to pledge, does not work, proceed to go to his father for help, he agrees (???) and then everyone else starts pledging until the business is on green light (???) This had a more political approach, but it was handled weirdly. Ah yes, the "mom" of Suletta is blatantly pushing Miorine to marry her daughter. Also, Mom tells Suletta that the Gundam, is in fact, a Gundam, confirming that she lied her. There's some interesting movement here, but if only this wasn't school and so damn contrived lol. (Also, I think that by now we can agree that Suletta is a clone of Eri from the Prologue, as her Mom doesn't look like the OG mom from the prologue) ACasualViewer said: Can someone explain the timeline? | This episode was so filled, I might need to watch it again. But while stuffed, it was also super interesting and exciting! And I could follow most of it. But there are still some questions I couldn't awnser: What did Nika do for Shaddiq? Did I forget something or is this a hint for future development of the characters? Is Nika not the nice friend she seems to be? Or did she unintentionally do something that benefited Shaddiq? What was the plan of the Jeturk family? Apperantly, they were trying to get something out of Prospera, but it failed due to Miorine's intervention. Guel's dad was defenetly upset about it. Did Zelling invest in Miorine's company? Guess that stays a secret. From what he said, it doesn't seem certain to me. Maybe someone else used to situation to get things started. And the Vanadis thing - is that confirmed to be the prologue? Or and event that made famous in the first place, since he had a massive political influence in the prologue already. The theory of Eri = Aerial had it's up and downs here. Apparently the "voices" are a known phenomen when two Gundams fight. But either Aerial or Suletta are defenetly special, since Prospera confirmed it/she is indeed a Gundam and not some improved model without damage to the pilot, as claimed in the interrogation. Still hard to tell how all of this is connected. The subtitles seem to be all over the place too. I've seen some with "my daugther" and some with "my daughterS" in the end. Maybe there will be more about it next episode. Aside from some scenes that were hard to follow, which might've been intentional, the episode was just great. Suletta is her usual self, but starts to become more confident - loveable as ever. Miorine finally got time to shine and shows what she's capable of. And how much she likes (or loves) Suletta. Even Shaddiq noticed how she changed. The real Elan is just as cold and cunning as the fake one. Still disagreeable, but I have to give him credit for his acting skills. Never lost his character, even with all the trouble going on. And I love Prospera's manipulation skills. Perhaps the most interesting character in the series. I presume she really wants her revenge on Zelling, but I have no idea what she thinks of Suletta, Aerial and their new ally Miorine. I just hope she hasn't lost her sanity and turns out to be a great mom for Suletta. |

| Miorine stole the show this episode. Things are really starting move now and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Our poor innocent pure girl Suletta finding out that she has literally no idea what's going on around while being manipulated by almost everybody was something a lot of us have been waiting for I guess, I like that she really was standing her ground tho even if nobody was listening. It's a scenario that puts on display how strong willed both Suletta and Miorine are and I was relishing in it |

| Hory shiet was this episode hard to watch, why cant Suletta have 1% of Miorines spine? The second hand embarassment was too strong. Im legitely getting tired of Sulettas overly pathetic stuttering. Miorine is definitely the top in this relationship. Speaking of which, Im glad we have seen them spend more time together, even if Miorine is acting like a tsundere. So the Gundam is out of the bag, I wonder what Prosperas plan is PS: some people here are still in denial about the yuri aspect of this show lol |

Eri in fact did exist, we don't know yet where she is tho, all I can grasp is that Suletta is not Eri, because the "mom" she refers to, is not the same as shown in the prologue, there's that, and her age wouldn't match her appearance. I'm sure they'll explain this later, all I can say is that either Eri is the "brother" that vision saw, or the Gundam has Eri's soul on it. |

| While we didn't have the magical realist backdrops, the whole sequence at the incubation session did have some very real Utena vibes with the excessive theatricality of it all (especially with Suelleta's platform getting raised to that degree). Also, we have confirmation that it's been 21 years between the prologue and now - which confirms some weirdness about Suellta's age. |

| I wouldn't be quick to praise Miorine. Seems like all the sneakiest players were happy with what she did, meaning they can make her the scapegoat and sacrifice her for their own gain. She seems too naive still. |
| Miorine is always in attack mode but this time she showed a bit more than that when she had to ask for help to her dad for her start-up company. Now something might be going on with Shaddiq and Nika, interesting. I always feel that Guel's brother is going to rip off his hair at some point xD |
| The prologue was confirmed to be 21 years ago, so if Eri was Sulleta she should be 25 y.o right now. Meanwhile she was still teenager here. 🤔 I'm waiting for the reveal. |

| We finally back after 2 weeks and Suletta suffering continues. Seriously, Suletta cannot catch a break. Miorine the MVP though, she really created a startup company then and there and computed all the necessary expenses and shit, truly the top of her class and all for her groom. It's definitely not going to be easy from here on out though, in fact, things are probably going to get harder. Still, Miorine best girl. They look great in their dresses btw. Miorine managed to save Suletta there, but now it's time to save her mental health after that revelation from her totally sane and good parent. Can't wait for the next episode. |

It works in Star Wars : The Clone Wars because the whole affect is based on the idea that they are disposable canon fodder, but if the story plays that as a mystery, I feel it could come back the wrong way. She will die? it was not the real thing to begin with, so why would I care. Anyway, it seems they didn't totally went the "no problem with them using a gundam" way, which is nice. Still feels weird nobody seems to have noticed, but whatever. |

| Just watched the prologue before this (it was pretty freaking awesome), and I'd say that it does certainly elevate the viewing experience of an already-solid show even more. |

Great party outfits for everyone, like Suletta's dress definitely has more of those massive Utena influence vibes: with the style similar to Utena's in episode 3, and the white rose on the lapel too! Felt so bad for Suletta and worried when they had her exposed on stage, but Miorine clutched that shit out like a boss. Though now I have MASSIVE NEW WORRIES about Gund-Arm Inc. It feels like it will be abused by the other forces for their own gain, and that creating it will have massive negative repercussions down the line. Was a great desperate temporary bandaid, that will eventually get torn off hard. Definitely was disappointed and upset with Prospera getting pulled out of the party at the worst moment, but I should know better than to doubt a classic scheming badass Char type. So much to think about, Suletta is already clearly changing with the lie and Gundam reveal and will be shattered when Elan is exposed. The strange story/connection Shaddiq and Nika have is ominous as hell too. Now that Gundams are out in the open, what next? Can't wait!!! Mod edit: merged double posts |
