Haven’t seen it, but pretty sure Blood-C is action/horror. Noragami is action/comedy. And K-On is slice-of-life, without much romance. Only romance ones are OHHC (which isn’t purely romance. That anime is complicated), Your Name (which is the greatest anime movie ever), and A Whisker Away (which is about cats :3)

(as much as i know)
But if the protagonist is supposed to be an assassin with fighting and stuffs like that,

They are really good. Altho for JoJo, the female protag doesn’t come in till season 4 I think (each season has a new protag) and for TPN, don’t watch season 2. Don’t ask why. Just don’t.

It was one of my first anime, and I gotta say, I figured he was a guy soon as I seen him. I don’t really see how people would’ve thought he was a girl it first. Sure he looks a lil feminine compared to the other guys but I still can’t see it.

Honestly i also figured out he was a guy in the first episode because the subtitles were saying "him"
But it was so hard to really see him as a guy........

I think when we he would be a girl, it would be not as good as it is. Not because that he being a girl is a problem, but there is a story point where I think its important to stay the same.
And thats when Nagisa‘s Mother treats him like a girl and makes obvious she also wanted a girl. I think its a good twist or point in the series, where you can even more relate to the Main Character.

I wouldn’t mind it, but Nagisa main story is why he looks like a girl. You’d have to come up with a whole new story idea and I don’t think it be as good.

Plus, Nagisa is funnier as a guy then a girl.
