I will try to be as vague as possible but if you like fighting shounen anime with beautiful animation give it a try. Trust me you'll like it

I will try to make this vague but if you like fighting shounen anime with great animation and art you should give it a try. I see you like FMAB and Overlord so I'm sure you'll like this. It also has really loveable characters as well for the most part. Hope you like it :)

I think it’s good but very overrated for what it is. The story is fine and the characters are just ok. The real thing that makes it stand out is it’s animation that really makes it worth watching.

I personally think that Demon Slayer is actually pretty good. The animation is smooth AS FUCK, the characters are all distinct for one another, and the story while not being anything to write home about, is decent and gets to the point. In my opinion, it’s a show worth watching

Really good first 13 episodes or so but forced humor starts to ruin it honestly... I liked all the gore stuff but two Chara were introduced and kinda made it more kidish.

It’s like fireworks the story is really simple and easy to understand that’s why it’s very popular and appeals to a lot of people and I say fireworks because the animation is amazing so you just sit back and say oooh aaahhh pretty colors lol

I give it an 8/10. I enjoy the characters, but I feel like they lean in too heavy with the screamy-whiney humor. Action is cool. Season starts strong and then ends weak.

It's a really generic anime but entertaining. The main thing it has is good animation.
There was a scene in the end of the movie which was quiet well done as it conveyed the emotions properly without doing anything special which is one of shounens greatest strengths.
Story is really average and the movie for the first half was just Tanjiro doing everything with plot convenience.
In terms of characters, most of them only have 1 trait and they don't have any personality and they can be really annoying at times but maybe when the anime progresses we might see them develop.

It’s pretty mid. The story and characters not as good as other popular shounen. It’s only outstanding trait is it’s animation. Animation carries pretty hard.

Is it really that hard to do your own research? You’re asking elitists for opinions they swear are facts. Yes it’s worth watching, I watched it after the hyped simmered down and used my own judgement and decided yes this is worth the hype because it’s just that good. The story and animation plus the plethora of good characters definitely make demon slayer that anime but take all of this with a grain of salt because what I think and what you’ll think will definitely collide and differ so I’d say don’t go in With expectations set

This is not good at all. The story is very cliche, forgettable and predictable. Demon Slayer is the most overrated and overhyped generic shounen I've ever seen. The characters are also nothing special, nothing interesting and unlikable at all

Great Animation and fight choreography. Average uninteresting story, same with characters. Horrible world building. This is an entertaining anime to watch so i would recommend watching it but if you’re looking for something with complex stories and characters and great writing then this isn’t it. If you’re looking for some great action scenes and animation, this is a great watch.

Here’s a negative opinion on it.

Good animation. That’s about it. No good story. No good characters. It’s not horrible. I like demon slayer but the pure enjoyment is from the animation. I guess the world building is ok.

Demon slayer is like living outside the walls of Attack On Titan with demons instead of titans. And also..... you have special powers(Not like superpowers or anything, but physical powers earned by training and all that shit)

Honestly I quite enjoyed it for its animation and characters the story is unravelling a big plot and you can tell , I got really into it and I went into reading the manga . it's really high quality and it is one of the only manga I completely finished so far . After you read the manga it's not like others where you just get bored of the show but you want to see how it will look like I'm the animation . Giving a summary to my reply I give kudos to the creator prob one of my fav . My apologies if you cannot understand English is not my first language .

the anime 1st season itself is alright I gave it a 6. Gorgeous visuals but some annoying characters and average plot. That being said, I think it’s worth watching the first season just to get to the movie which is very good. I hope they continue at the level of the movie for the next season. I would say if you want something fun and entertaining that gets better the more you watch you should watch it

I think a lot of people are too concerned about whether or not an anime is overrated or underrated and that perspective can negatively influence other people when they're deciding if they should watch the show. I would ignore those comments and look at the positives and negatives instead.
Demon Slayer is beautifully animated with a great color palette. The character designs are stunning and unique. The plot is solid to an extent. You will want to binge it... to find out what happens next.
There are a lot of negative criticisms out there that you can read but keep in mind that a lot of people are extra harsh with shows they didn't WANT to like. They go in with a negative mindset and obviously didn't like the show. That's fine but raging these harsh criticisms all over the internet really scares people away.
Idk I'm ranting a bit but just consider everything positive and negative before deciding. I think it's worth your time.

Hyped due to animation which automatically makes ppl say it’s a 8/10 or even higher
The story many ppl don’t pay as much as attention they need to

It’s got a decent plot and story and the characters are enjoyable, but the best parts, that are really worth all the hype it gets are the animation and the sound effects. In the end it is definitely a show worth watching.
