| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, there's Hayase, the winner of the fight. This episode also brings out more of her personality as she views Fushi like her property and has this weird love for him. Tonari becoming the leader of that island is a surprising twist though. And speaking of which, Fushi is very lucky to have Tonari as an ally. The scene with nude Hayase trying to luck with Fushi...lol |

| Of all the amount of time spent fighting in the arena, Fushi's life stopped at Hayase. SO CLOSE, YET SO FAR. And yet, as bizarre as Hayase looks, her winner's requests are even more ludicrious: for the people of Jananda to protect Fushi, just because he can shield them from the Nokkers. They could not be further from the truth: Hayase is injecting half-lies and half-truths that wil make their lives easier for the average Joe's plight and plea, while secretly keeping Fushi to herself from an outsider's POV. The dream sequence of Fushi, and Hayase's...shall I say, infatuation with him buck-naked only makes her a more twisted antagonist character. Tonari and the kids trying to take Fushi away from Hayase, but they face a tough road ahead: take him and sacrifice their lives in the midst, but Fushi does the opposite to spare theirs. In the end, the grant is chosen for selected people to board the Skyfish ship to escaoe from Jananda. And from the new island chief Tonari's word, Pioran and the kids 7 and under are chosen to make their lives anew outside...that is, if Hayase hasn't made her hidden stance clear to drug the kids and carry them onboard the ship, while Fushi's fate is to be determined. It's heartwarming that the people of Jananda are working together with Captain Skyship working against the Yanome onboard the Skyship, aiding Tonari and her owl Ligard back to Jananda to save the immortal in one last hurrah. All that's left now of the anime is when the Nokkers will start attacking Jananda again. |

| Hayase really wants Fushi, I can see that. Guess I'm in the minority, but I would love to get some sort of character redemption for her. Knowing this anime, tho, tragedy should strike Tonari and the others next episode or the one after that. Will Hayase be the catalyst for that? Or maybe she's going to sacrifice herself to save them along with a flashback? |

| Can't believe she manipulated that many people of Jananda with her witty words just like that and not even one of them questioned her. Well, what can I expect? Hey, what was she planning to do with Fushi. Smex? Really? Poor Tonari and kids were there to rescue Fushi but instead, they got betrayed by their own people. Thanks to Fushi, they are going to leave the island with 700 others before that bitch Hayase played her cards again. But, Tonari is going back to save Fushi. How will this end? I have a bad feeling about this. |

Cold, calculated and despite the clear power difference between she and Fushi, she’s able to use her wit to keep her a formidable opponent. S/O to Tonari for going back for Fushi. I respect that a lot. These next few episodes should be crazy |

They backstabbed him in a second. Next episode will be a fight against the Nokkers again. Oh and, Tonari's character is evolving again. Nice to see that. |

| I would love to have Hayase as a waifu But Fushis dream had some good dialogue I must admit, best one yet that is concise, and more psychologically enhancing to Fushis character development. I wonder what his mindset will be like in the future. |

| Nice episode, haven't seen a bad episode so far. Of course, there are some downs with this series but overall it has an entertaining world-building and plot. Hayase is such a good villain, her scars are gruesome, and I always felt that she would come back from that 1st arc. Ngl, I want her to stay alive after this arc just so she could appear again in the upcoming arcs. I think that Hayase is trying to rape Fushi so that she could have offsprings that have Fushi's abilities; immortality, changing forms, creating objects, etc. Can't wait for the next episode, I can't believe we're nearing the end of this series. 3 episodes left to finish this season. Hopefully, season 2 will be announced soon. |

| There has been a drop in quality in terms of animation and direction for a while now, but man, this latest episode was just painful to watch. I lost count of how many times Tonari's forehead occupied half of the screen. Can't say I enjoyed this episode. I'm a visual person, so it was really hard to focus on what was going on and take it seriously when I was distracted by how bad everything looked. Haha, Hayse really tried to seduce Fushi. Hayase really seems to be oppressive and addicted to Fushi. Well, Tonari has embarked on a journey to save Fushi. Hopefully, she doesn't die. |

| Hayase is desperately is trying to conceive a child through Fushi although I'm not sure if that's possible since Fushi is technically not human. Tonari has signed her own death flag by going back for Fushi alone. |

| Uh Hayase is really weird, I guess she tried to have a child with Fushi but it's still mysterious... Now most of the kids can escape the island but Fushi needs to stay here, at least Tonari is gonna save him but I'm sure she'll die because of that |

| The motivation for making Tonari the leader is confusing. At first it's like "ah she wants the crowd to kill her so Fushi will be more sad/mad" but then Tonari basically offers herself up and she gives a 10 second countdown. She even provides her troops as a guard aboard the ship. Assuming she only knocked them all out so they wouldnt get up to any bs on the trip back. |

| For how crazy Hayase is, this was handled pretty peacefully, to some extent. I sure thought someone was gonna die here, but seems everyone was spared. Hayase was definitely thirsty for Fushi! Tonari on her own going back is pretty risky, I wonder what she can pull off on her own. Quality really taking a nosedive sadly... Are those zombies in the preview?? |
