The Legend of the Legendary Heroes - MC is hated and feared because of what he is and the power he wields; unfortunately the adaptation does not cover the later story arcs leaving a mild empty feeling Claymore - MC is hated and feared because of what she became, the common people tolerate her because of her combat prowess; the adaptation covers the main plot and backstory of important characters but not the later story arcs; IMO this amine desperately needs a second season Trigun - a classic Space Western anime (if you grew up watching Toonami or Saturday morning cartoons then you know/feel the nostalgia) Vash the Stampede (the MC) is a menace. Everywhere he goes, destruction follows, he's hated and fear by everyone for the damage that he doesn't directly cause. This is a comedic sci-fi adventure with a circumstantial hero/menace. No superpowers but he is the only person who can stop the main antagonist. Note: gun battles are everywhere so if you don't like guns then don't watch. |
