Are we getting a season 3? Or have the creators just gave up on this anime

I'd say there's probably not gonna be a season 3 at this rate since it seems like 1 and 2 were a package deal. Then again who knows, covid might have fucked up production until next year

I don't know if we are getting a season 3, but the manga is amazing so if you want to know how the story ends. You can just read the manga. I hope Netflix realises the last season. ( sorry for bad grammar. English isn't my first language)

both yes and no. It's hard to explain, but I will try. Everything that happens in the anime happens in the manga, but it happens very fast in the anime.(I mean that they have animated the main action but didn't animated the small scene's.) And there's a lot that wasn't animated in the back stories. The anime didn't explain what the characters was thinking and feeling. The anime focus more on the action. The manga focus more on what the characters where thinking, feeling and it focuses lot on the back stories.in The manga was much easier to understand characters and their actions. If you want to read the manga I recommend you to start from the start to fully understand the story, but you can also start at chapter 110 after season two. (I think it is chapter 110 I'm not sure) anyway about your question yes the manga is a bit different from the anime. Hope you read it. :D

So it's basically like most anime. The director is only getting a dozen episodes and he has to make decisions which parts of the manga he should cover. Of course he will leave some stuff out to make the best of it and show as much as possible.

In case anyone is still wondering about season 3, Netflix officially announced that it was canceled after season 2.

Also, be aware the manga is not licensed in the US and has not received any official English translation.
