| MyAnimeList took some measures to remove all the favourite boosting accounts. I saw Eugeo having 10k favourites before this event happened, but now he's at 2k!! Does that mean he had 80% botted favourites? Is he the second most botted character next to Ichigo? There's no way that happened |

| I remember his favorites increasing from about 4k to 10k in just a month or so. So he was indeed botted. If you look in waybackmachine for his favorites from when this anime ended, you can see he had less favorites back then. |

I can't give you the exact numbers because web archive shows the desktop version only and desktop version doesn't have number of favourites in the front page. But here you can see that Eugeo had less favorites than Alice as of May 5, 2019 (his position is below hers) - https://web.archive.org/web/20190505165132/https://myanimelist.net/anime/36474/Sword_Art_Online__Alicization But then in 2 years Eugeo had almost about 5k extra favorites compared to Alice. It isn't normal rate of growth for an anime that is already finished. Eugeo is one of my favorite characters. So I noticed it when his favorites got a boost. I don't remember the number of favorites he had at the time to be honest. But I can tell it was roughly three to four thousand increase after that. |

| Oh plz, yeah i just realized that Eugeo was 7k botted but now i checked and also found out that, Eren was 52k and now he is 43k means 9k botted,, Levi was 130+k now he is just 109k means 21k botted favs,, also in case of itachi it was 60+k now it's just 40+k ,,damn levi was the one which is botted to much favorites |

| Hey guys, give some attention here, it's because i care about my favorite characters so much so i often check the favourites,, damn guys @MHAisTrueKing , @Chrome_Falcon bro the last time i checked Emilia's favourites on mal, it was 52k and I'm really really shocked it is now just 19k,, damn 52-19= 33k botted favourite,, also in case of Rem it was 72k if i remember correctly now it's just 40k, 72-40= 32k,, damn how is it possible,, they really did a good job removing the bot, even I'm sad but it wasn't good Just 33k and 32k botted favourites of Rem & Emilia,, 21k of levi ,, nearly 20k of itachi and naruto,, damn it's really annoying π π |

| I also don't like Kaguyasama, as Chika's and Yuu's favourites was very much more but now it's just 13k, 14k, 3k and all,, they were just fooling us that they are just popular characters,, bruh all had 10k + botted favourites and remember? Kaguya crossed that 25k line and was informed on mal just before Eugeo,, damn it |

There isn't any value for the fav count if all of it was botted. Now that it is fixed, the ranking actually has meaning. I personally don't care about favorite rankings but it was annoying to see the bots fight in the top 10 list. I have characters with less than 200 favourites in my list. It is just for your own reference anyway π |
