| https://www.idrlabs.com/autism-spectrum/test.php DO THIS TEST INSTEAD: https://rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php Your broader autism cluster (Aspie) score: 128 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 79 of 200 You are very likely on the broader autism cluster (Aspie) i'm autistic so these results don't really surprise me. i'm curious to see the difference in results between autistic and allistic (non-autistic) people i'm autistic so these results don't really surprise me. although i do think that some of the stats are a tiny bit too high (abnormal posture, anxiety) or low (aggression, fixations,) i would say that they're accurate for the most part. EDIT: i literally edited my results in paint because the slight inaccuracies were bothering me that much (which is ironically pretty autistic lmao) |

| Your link doesn't link directly to the test. Here it is: https://www.idrlabs.com/autism-spectrum/test.php My result, lol. And no, I'm definitely not autistic. Apparently I learnt to deal with my problem, coming out as a stress response due to perceived/real threats. My emotions are terribly unstable so I have been practicing to handle it for a long time. I really hate myself when I lose control of how I should act and who I am or want to be so I refrain as much as possible, as to not go into a negative spiral. My negative emotion state tend to make me see a lot of things as a threat and it's pretty hard to distinguish so when the evidences aren't clear. Although I have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia officially, I have to adamantly disagree with that diagnosis many years ago. I pretty much gave up for a long time and just keep telling everyone that I have it to go along with them even though after reading the symptoms, I can barely relate. I'm not going into details what it is I likely have but I'm pretty sure I found the right ones after a certain youtube video explains all of the mental illnesses to me. I just don't like to tell anyone this stuff, sorry. |

| My results: So yeah, I'm not autistic. My (comparatively) high agression score is because I tend to get angry easily, and the result on fixations is because I like routine and dislike change and this was categorized under fixations (if anything, my parents have more fixations than me). Also talking too loudly apparently is categorized under abnormal speech. My observations on the test otherwise: There sure were a lot of questions about eye contact. Also (in regards to the question about metaphorical expressions), not being a native english speaker, this was the first time I encountered the phrase 'feel like a million dollars' so I had to look it up - but at any rate, I can understand said expressions just fine. P.S. I thought I got angry more than I should, but apparently I'm not quite as as bad as I thought, judging from e.g. the poster above. |

Neurotypical person here. The questions about noise sensitivity are strange to me. All the sounds they gave examples of can be quite annoying. I mean, the whole point of fire alarms is to be uncomfortable enough to prompt you to get up and leave. Loud noises are loud, not fun things are not fun. Keeping constant eye contact all the time when people are talking to you is what will earn you the label of creepy. |

| I don't have poor eye contact I just have to make a cognitive choice to look at someone.... I would rather look at feet tho. lol. That low social difficulty is why I can't get the label. I just have extreme ADHD and Tourettes. So if anyone's test looks more like mine, you prob have ADHD. |

HOLLY MOLLY Yes I know I have aggressivity problems, test. I'm frustrated with life in general. Kinda interesting to see I score extremely low on the tics/fixations. If the quiz asked me more questions about numbers it'd be higher, I'm the kind of person who fiddles with shit until he gets a nice round number (or multiple of 6) lol. |

And it was depression all along. My voice goes ← ↑ → ↓ so lmao, more like the polar opposite. If you're independent that apparently means that you're autistic, aight cool. I also barely know anything about the things I'm really interested in. Like, I'm really interested in trains but I can't tell you things about their models or anything. I don't have any obsessive hobbies, never had unless you count 1 hour of games every day when I was younger as it like my parents did lol. I was nowhere near addicted. The person also gave me the most random idiom ever that I don't think anyone would've got: "a chip off the old block." and they expect a kid to know what that means lmfao. I get idioms, always have although they may be difficult to put into words, and nobody has said them to me before. If someone said literally any idiom to me I wouldn't take that seriously. Ever. A lot of what my mother told the woman was mainly things unrelated to autism and more to things like dissociation (she assumes everything I do that isn't like her is autistic), anxiety/panic attacks ("autistic meltdowns"), body pains (e.g. she made excuses that my clothes were uncomfortable... back then it was because they were not the correct size and way too tight), getting upset when people lie to me ("In a minute" no, if you say you'll do something today and then a week later it still hasn't happened, you just broke your promise of course I'd be upset. If you said in a minute and then an hour later it still hasn't happened, wtf?) etc. She also doesn't like slapstick, I do so she takes it all out of proportion and considers that autistic as well. Ima cry. "She does not worry when separated from her parents." Okay, what kind of bullshit did my mother write here? I felt appalling that one time I got lost, fml fml. Also, apparently having an imagination and coming up with new ideas is autistic. And anyone who is shy has autism according to my mum. Istg. Just reading about everything she wrote in that diagnostic paper just hurts. Every sentence damages my heart because of how much everything is blown out of proportion and far from how I as a person personally felt. I'm fragile and stunted, it's social anxiety and emotional volatility, that's literally all it is but she wrote about anything that she didn't do and called it abnormal on the paper. Like... packing my school bag with all of my books when for one, they could fit, and two, I had no shelf/desk to place them on so I kept them in my bag. And hiding my private life from them is somehow an autistic thing too, aight miss. Not to mention she had the audacity to write a paragraph about how they never believed me whenever my sister hurt me. I'm also not overly sensitive to the touch of things, but if someone scratches me or touches me without consent no shit it'll hurt. Every single time that my mother accidentally cuts me and it leaves a mark, I tell her she hurt me and she just... doesn't seem to care? So I have to show her the mark every single time for her to eventually apologise. She usually just copies the answers she gave for me in an online test and then rewords them. That's probably what she did with me. |

Well I'm not surprised by the Depression. I've been feeling down a lot lately. I think I may have been overly generous on the aggression questions as I don't think I'm that aggressive. I tend to have moment of extreme frustration but I usually hold that in unless something really stresses me out and avoid in public. I can say my anxiety has improved from years ago but the depression has gotten worse. |

The result says I am on moderate spectrum of autism. The eye contact and abnormal posture is something I expected to be high. I can't keep eye contact with everyone. My mother and I share a close bond, and I am comfortable opening up with her about some things, and yet I struggle to even lock eyes with her for more than 5 seconds. The same goes with my previous partners. As for the posture, this I think is due to the fact that I am somehow not in tune with my surroundings? My mind tends to wander / daydream / think of unimportant things. I have bruises all over my body because I trip very easily. |

It says my results are moderate. I haven't been diagnosed with anything, but I have struggled with poor eye contact all my life, so no surprise I am high there. Also pretty normal on the depression part. I don't really feel strong positive or negative emotions all that often, just dullness most of the time. At least it makes it hard for me to get angry at others. I am surprised though my noise sensitivity isn't higher though. When I get nervous, every sound (even the lights) makes me fidget and I have to move around. It gets pretty bad during tests since I can't stand up and walk away so I just fidget and change my posture a lot. It was apparent enough that my profs used to think I was cheating. Social difficulty is also shockingly high, considering I can often strike convos in front complete strangers. I guess not really caring for seeking it out may imply social difficulty though. |

| Seems like my symptoms are moderate. Kind of surprised I didn't score higher in the social difficulties area though. I definitely don't have the classic noise sensitivity. If anything I seem to have a lower level of registration with sounds. I listen to loud music very frequently. However, I definitely seem to have heightened taste and touch. I am an extraordinarily picky eater. I eat the same 3-4 meals every day. I've also always loved feeling soft textures to a larger degree than it seems most people do. |

Some things popped up in there that I hadn't even thought of before. This one particularly stuck out to me... "Have your thoughts ever been so vivid that you were worried other people would hear them?" I basically have entire conversations with a fake entity in my head. Like there's always a voice in favor of whatever I'm saying and a critical voice. The critical voice seems to look for flaws in whatever the way I'm thinking currently is. I tried to post results but it didn't show up right every time I posted it, don't know what's wrong with it. I had an aspie score of 142 and neurotypical score of 75. |

| Here is mine result Your broader autism cluster (Aspie) score: 117 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 94 of 200 You have both broader autism cluster and neurotypical traits I was actually diagnose Autism at a very young age. I usually have a hard time understanding things unless I put more time of thinking of it, but it depending heavily on energy. When I'm low on energy, I find it hard to understand people what they're saying, so if I'm in a group of 3 people including me, I often don't understand of a concept till I research it on my own. Picking up accents is the worst offender, I had to tell them often what they're saying, either they get upset or make a fun of me for can't hear. I often reuse words unintentionally without me noticing. Whenever I get embarrassed I often snap my finger to cope with it or to forget the moment of what happens. Sometimes I said things that I never knew that was going to offend people, so about 82% of the time I kept things to myself. This is somehow bad whenever talking to people I'm interested in. For example some women I wanted to talk to at a bus stop I often thinking about what not to say or to say because If I said something without myself realizing it, I would've been very anxiou. Loud noises use to aggravates me when I was in elementary school but I've grown out of it during middle school. Speaking of school, people picked on me for my voice being monotone and flat, one girl mentioned that my voice sounded like a robot. I'm sometimes really into numbers, I read license plates on people cars and wonder what state they're from and car brands, thus the reason why I'm good at mastering math, however remembering it is the opposite. Tl:dr of my Story of my Autism experience. |

| I can not be bothered to take a third test. Perfectly normal people here, as least in appearance. Fashionable gatherings are boring, how is that normal to enjoy them? No idea what these fixations are about, perhaps that means having some strong interests in life. I made some research and found some interesting work relating autism and mathematics. [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] This following table taken from [5] is quite telling too. @Philtecturophy Your friend Wittgenstein is being badmouthed there, what a shame. Post-mortem mental diagnosis shall be forbidden by the Geneva Conventions. The most interesting thing for the thread is the article [3] of Baren-Cohen et al. which gives an apparently better test and introduces the concept of Autism-Spectrum Quotient (AQ). However, using the Bayes formula, it is easy to see that a positive test yields a probability slightly inferior to 29% to actually be autistic (which means in this context Asperger's syndrome or high-functioning autism) if you get more than 32, and about 43% if you also happen to be a mathematician. You can have the test here: https://psychology-tools.com/test/autism-spectrum-quotient My results are not very encouraging, but there is no reason to care about it or even of a real diagnosis. This modern obsession about mental health is very odd for the artist should not be cured if he wants to benefit to the human kind. Kosmonaut said: Neurotypical person here. Is that the new mental decease called normalite everyone speaks about these days? I hate to break it out you, but your future looks bleak according to Asperger. ‘‘It seems that for success in science or art a dash of autism is essential. For success the necessary ingredient may be an ability to turn away from the everyday world, from the simple practical, an ability to rethink a subject with originality so as to create in new untrodden ways, with all abilities canalised into the one speciality.’’ |

Sadly talent is low since I haven't honed in any skills particularly. Your broader autism cluster (Aspie) score: 64 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 151 of 200 You are very likely neurotypical https://rdos.net/eng/poly10a.php?p1=11&p2=63&p3=30&p4=33&p5=31&p6=16&p7=21&p8=22&p9=26&p10=33 Seems the image doesnt imbed right probably because of MALs code or something. Maybe something to do with cache since direct link it shows up fine. |

| I decided to do both tests just to get more results. The first one: "Your autism spectrum symptoms are high." The second one: Actually, I've done this test before, when a friend sent me it back in December 2020, but I did it in Portuguese, so I had to redo now. At least the graphics seem alike somewhat, but the time between them wasn't so long, so I guess that was predictable. Might also consider that the language barrier could influence the result. Your broader autism cluster (Aspie) score: 127 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 76 of 200 You are very likely on the broader autism cluster (Aspie) I don't think I'm autistic, albeit online tests seem to indicate that. Probably because I do have bad social skills (or zero according to the second test), repetitive behavior and sensitivity to some things, but I think those are due to anxiety and social isolation throughout my life. Or perhaps I am indeed a bit aspie, who knows. Meh, I'm pretty good at understanding jokes and metaphors if I have enough background, though. lol |

I'm diagnosed with high functioning autism, and I'd say this was fairly accurate, not a lot, but fairly, much surprised with the Tics and Fidgets result was so high, I stim and make stereotypical movements way too much to relieve whatever I'm feeling, like anger, stress, anxiety, joy. I suffer a lot from noise sensitivity, in fact I think in getting a hearing protection device. And hey I ain't that agressive- I'm not doing the second test cause It's aint that appealing and it's too long. |

| My results were Eye contact with the opposite sex is a weak point I have as I avoid it. Besides that I sometimes try to minimalize risk while doing work so I avoid extra heights and stuff I consider dangerous. I never got diagnosed with autism irl though some coworkers thought I had it (probably due to not making eye contact with coworkers and being introverted). I am very social with my family, bro, and people I am close to. Since I work retail I moderate myself at work to be introverted though I still greet my coworkers. |
