| First canon ep and well it's alright, we got some familial scenes with the Todoroki household, Endevour will need to go a long and arduous path of atonement to atone for the shit he did to his family. Now the second half though, it's Deku's second encounter with the One for All predecessors, how All for One made the greatest mistake of his life by giving his frail little brother the power to cultivate strength. Welp, the Class A vs Class B arc will start with the next ep, I don't have much to look for right now, but it's sure to get at least mildly exciting, until THAT comes. |

| i like how the Look! Boy became a meme. It's pretty rare to see animes incorporate memes into its story. dont_quote_me_ said: I really dislike the way that this whole backstory of All for One was presented. Like it was meant for a 5 year old child to understand, with no room of self interpretation. It was literally a perfect moment to do this kind of thing but they wasted it. I guess I shouldn't expect anything from this title for middle schoolers anyways. A perfect moment to do what? Can you elaborate? And how would the backstory be presented better? Unless we get a flashback from AFO himself, there's no other way for us to find out what happened way back then. |

| Close call at the beginning were they showed more about the encounter between Dabi and Endeavor. I don't want to think of what could have happened if Mirko didn't appear in the last second. Dabi definitely has special interest in Endeavor for obvious reasons. So that's the meaning behind the meeting between Dabi and Hawks. Even if it's a really good move in the long term to get more informations about the villains in generel or how the Nomus get created I'm not sure if it will be that easy. But I'm glad they showed a little bit more about Hawks past. Seems like even as a kid he was very talented, so not a surprise he became the number 2 hero. "That's a bad scar" *slurp* nice one Todoroki :D There's still a very tense atmosphere between Endeavor and his family, but you can see he as a father really trying to atone for the things he did in the past. Even if Natsu and Todoroki can't forgive him immediately at least they told him what they think. Compared to before this is such a big improvement. So I'm super interested to see how this will develope from now on. We also came back to the scene we're Deku had a dream of this mysterious world which got previewed in the last season. It's nice to get more background about All for One and his brother (the first owner of One for All), even if there's still a lot of things we (anime onlys) don't know about yet. About that last scene, if I understand correctly it means that Deku can only see more of this dream if he is able to use a higher percentage of One for All right? Interesting stuff. Next week 1-A vs 1-B? Can't wait for it. |

| Thankfully this was much better than last week. I loved the endeavor moments and one for all looks dope in his human form. That whole flashback/vision part was very interesting and I'm hoping the quality can keep up or improve throughout the season. I'm very excited for next week since the pv seems hype |

| Felt it when reading the manga and felt it again when watching this episode. The reveal of Hawks being a double agent comes way too quick. Horikoshi could've left it secret for a while longer and it would've been twice better. Also, how did Enji not lose his eye? |

| Poor Endeavor. I kind of agree with Todoroki, what he did to his mother can't be easily forgotten. So I was wrong after all, Hawk is apparently a spy. I'm curious if something important will happen with that in the future. Also something interesting that happened was that All Might did not appear in that line Deku was talking about. An explanation would be that you need to die before but why is Deku there. I'm probably overthinking it. Nice episode, things are starting to happen. |

| I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who isn't simping for this show. This arc is when the writing takes a massive dip and the mediocre adaptation this season doesn't really make up for it. It's probably because of the way last season ended, so next episode should be better, but I can't say the same about the story from here on out in general. I expect this season will make shonentards stay and those who expected more from the show to either drop it or keep following it only because they are already too deep in at this point |

| Good episode the end scene felt like mini Avatar with all the previous One for All peeps lined up lol. Interesting backstory for the 1st excited to see more. I like the Endeavor redemption angle and Hawks playing double agent. |
| That whole Endeavor confronting his son scene had much more emotional stakes than JJK and KNY combined. Also I miss this soundtrack a lot. I just wished MHA didn't embraced the cheesiness of superheroes and embraced the mature aspect about. |

| Good to see Endeavor still has a long way to go in order to gain his sons' forgiveness. Toya eh... On the other hand, Mirko (or Miruko) appeared for only a few seconds but I already fell for her once more. Can't wait to see her getting a more active role in the story. |
| Haha, the slurpppp scene was finally animated, nice to see the sarcasm was conveyed!! I know some people will be happy to hear who the “special participant” is next episode, which marks the beginning of the 1A v. 1B arc! Personally I wasn’t a big fan of the arc but we’ll see how it goes. |

| So last week was a little kids preview and this one was a little better. Gotta' say, after being dub-only for the past four seasons.... Midoriya's sub voice is WWWWAAAAAYYYYY different! Way more masculine. The dub voice is such a twink, it's hilarious! Gay shippers gotta' be coming from the dub. Hope next ep is good. They ALMOST made it so the show had actual stakes but pulled back from the guy being a traitor or Midoriya being in actual trouble. Ah well, classic deus ex machina Academia, it never changes. Textbook deus ex. |

| This was the episode covered all the things I most looked forward to for this arc. - Endeavor's start of a redemption arc. He basically upgraded from "literal dumpster fire of a person" to "garbage father that's trying to make up for it". Like it's imposible for everyone to forgive him, but he's doing his best to atone and that's a good first step. - Hawk's of backstory. Which was even better since I forgot the details of that from the manga. - Deku seeing the the origins of OFA & AFO. It hyped me so much when I read it and it hyped me up even more seeing with the music & voice-acting. Fan-freaking-tastic! Well since all that was covered, time to wait until the arc is over so that I can binge through it later. Enjoy the calm "slice of life" vibes while you can π |

| I knew it! Hawks will not betray the heroes and the society. Obviously, he is a double agent. He pretends to join the League of Villains to gain information about them. Endeavor has now a matching scar with Todoroki. Deku has a vision about the history of One For All. This episode is nicely executed. I can't wait for the next episode! |

Finally I am no longer the only one who sees this. Fuyumi is good culture. Also, man I forgot how much this is literally just the Avatar State. |
