MAPPA is really trying to set trends in BL bait anime, isn't it? I don’t think this is particularly bad since everything has its own audience, but given the stated goals of the studio, I would like to see more potential AOT shows instead of constantly chasing fujo audiences.

I know I'm gonna like this for the characters and another Minato. I just hope they don't act as actual jerks because they are school aged which is dumb. I must also add, I'd like to see more female-targeted shows being made instead of constantly chasing male audiences for decades.

To begin with, fujoshi for the most part is basically no less straight girls, only with gay fetish. You can refer for a long time to girls who trendy call themselves bi or a small number of lesbians in this, but it is. A lot of people that watch yaoi do fetish the characters, just like people do in hentai, or why theres basically no good yuris, because what straight male likes romance? The standard is they would rather see them make out then fall in love. But not everyone that reads that material is fetishizing the characters, thats why shows like Given are popular. I didnt mean anything rude by my comment, I just dont understand why this show is not even aired and its being called fujo bait, when its clear that most shows that dont even have romance in it and are mainstream (mha, aot, jjk, etc) the most popular ships are yaoi. All two male characters have to do is be side by side and its usually enough for people.

You see, the problem is that if in the case of Kyoani I can understand the abuse of fanservice and moe, since the studio has been working on the perfect commercial anime for years, then in the case of MAPPA, I am just offended that the studio aimed to "give a chance to non- hyped projects with original ideas ", at some point just refocused on BL bait.

most queer women i've seen want more guys to read gl or yuri since it's primarly a female dominate genre, but okay, and personally i could understand them not liking yuri fanservice, the same way i don't like yaoi fanservice, but that does not mean the ppl watching it are fetishizers,

Not to generalize, but straight men loving lesbian content are mostly men with lesbian fetish. If you pay attention to the male-targeted yuri, you may notice that it contains a lot of male heterosexual expectations from women, their behavior and appearance. Basically, the same as what you can see in BL, which embodies many female expectations from men.
