I’ve been testing it out for about an hour now and I got to say its pretty clean. But I had a question about it:

When I was clicking on friend requests, forums and other stuff like that, it sent me directly to my mobile browser. Is that something that’s going to be in the real app? If so, it would be a little annoying.

It's finally here to use on iOS. I'm looking forward to the day the app has more features. Also would really appreciate it if the MAL forums got an overhaul. This would have been a great thread to use the non-existent like button on. I really do hope that the English toggle that is just to come to the live MAL site comes to the mobile app.

I know the app is a beta but the UI needs some improvement. I really do hope in the future you will be able to edit your account setting in app, faq in app & contact support in app as well.

I just hope the app lasts more than a week before getting pulled and having no official app for a long time.

Man, MAL has been the most efficient and nice database for me since I’ve started all my love for anime/manga, and having a mobile version of it couldn’t be better! Keeping tracks of my PTWes and C animes/mangas, this database is sure is a work of an angel.

I had a few hiccups at the beginning, such as signing in, but seems to be running smooth.

Is there going to be a manga section or am I just missing it in the app?

are there lots of testers of the mobile app for few days now thats why the site is like under a DDoS attack with too many request causing 500 internal server errors and slow loading times?

I’d say the biggest bugs I’m having is that not everything is showing under my watching lis and I’m having difficulty finding shows with the search function in app. For example Adachi to Shimamura and Senyoku no Sigrdrifa, it doesn’t show under my watching list and I cannot search them in app.

Will there be an iPadOS version? Some of us are not iPhone users but we are dedicated iPad users. A phone formatted interface is a non-starter. We need the viewing space of a browser rather than a tiny window.

Aww yeah, time to get hype! I've missed being able to easily access MAL through my phone. Was a big fan of PocketMAL way back when and hope this will work just as smoothly.

The app is looking great! Really liking this official version for mobile.

But is there a way to filter your Anime lists? (by Score, Type, Date, etc).
