It's a nice, short kinda backstory/side story thing, but definetly worth it, if you liked the series. ^^ Umineko no Naku Koro ni is my all time favourite series, so I would love to recommend that for you, since it might be just the right thing you are looking for. Kurozuka has its own charm too, so despite not being liked by many, you might find something unique in it too.
