THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
OOH, getting to know the assistant Lamia Sapphee and Dr. Glenn's history together as backstory...well, for a wee bit. I'd much rather to tell you to read the manga adaptation of the LN for a better explanation, it was very loose here.

Turns out that "pregnancy" isn't so much one, but a prank, a basket enclosed with a Harpy's egg. But trouble knocks on their door, mostly concerned with slave drivers who are profiting against monsters and their eggs (well, mostly slavery being the root cause).

A dangerous escape journey with the entire cast seen so far, and eventually they reach to save the kidnapped and slaved Harpies (oh, even helped one to ovulate safely from danger).

Sapphee being stabbed with a poisonous dagger that's enough to put her in death, but Dr. Glenn being able to save her life is a blessing. An assassination plot from both sides' families, huh, but it was nullified, so all's well that ends well.

That final scene though, pretty much confirms her love for Dr. Glenn. A license-to-kill plot from young that spirals into a love interest...yeah.

My guess is she is hidding something under her shirt.
That guess was true, Saphe hide a box under her shirt, It seems like there is an intruder attacking them and it is not a big problem because Saphe is there, look at Saphe expression, xD.

Saphe's mom is so beautiful, pink panties = pink egg. Why is there no scene of Saphe naked, oh shit.

unfortunately at the first minute I was drinking, so yeah, hard to take a SS when Saphe's open her shirt, xD.

Well it seems the city has some problems with crime.
Tho it was a good thing they wanted after that group and hopefully the saved harpies will have a good life after this.
Judging from their health tho they still need some care after this.

I don't know why this clinic only treat female patients, I haven't see any male patient, maybe doctor is specialized in female? Which is such a shame because men in this anime are also hot, even the slave trader leader.

Today's episode was very action packed from start to finish. Wasn't expecting that with how the tone of the show was going. It was unexpected, and quite good.

Surprise, it was a harpy egg!

There are some slavers who use harpies to sell their eggs but Kunai and the Council's patrols are going to stop them.

Saphentite once again is showing how strong she is, especially when it comes to protecting Dr.Glenn.

Saphentite confessed her secret which Glenn already knew and now he is going to take care of her as he did in the past.
Their relationship gets stronger and stronger~!

Ah, I first thought that the incurable disease would be one that prevents her from having children : turned out she's just in love with Glenn

Well a good episode, it had more action than usual with a bit of discovery (harpies this time). According to the preview, we should be coming back to centaureas next week

So this episode adapted the final chapter of volume 1 plus like half the epilogue. It was a good bit more material than the others so the pacing was a bit faster, but they still didn't skip any scenes. Just a lot of cut dialogue.

The main reason Glenn wanted to tag along with Kunai was because he figured there might be ppl that need first aid since there is likely to be fighting etc. I think that makes a lot more sense than tagging along for protection. Also like all of Kay and Lorna's dialogue was cut (the two centaurs who hang around Tisalia). The fight with the bandit leader and Kunai was also cut very short to basically only show the conclusion.

Pretty much the only bit of information from the last bit of the epilogue that was left out is that the bandits that were captured are given forced labor to repair the old, rundown part of the Waterways so it can't be used for any illegal crap like that in the future.

As far as I read, it is not explained why. She just said that if this two have sex or push their relationships further, she will stop patronizing their clinic.

this was a great Episode Glenn battle harem springing into action to take down scum and scum stupid enough to go after Saphee and Tisalia man.

I think maybe Lady Skadi may be developing a thing for Glenn or Glenn's mentor pushing things that way maybe that why she against Saphee and Glenn being together?

Another good episode, esp the moments between Saphee and Glenn, heartwarming. Also,is anyone else getting annoyed with all those saying"it's not Monster Musume",or comparing it with that show?
I mean,I like that other show with Miia and the girls(esp Lala,Suu and Manako and Tio),but this isn't,and never was meant to replace that show. It's got a charm(Saphee)all its own.

So the incurable disease she has is that she's in love with him and he seems to already know that but doesn't want to take the leap but seems to acknowledge/accepts her feelings? I like how he's not dense and has his sights set on Saphee.

I could help but grin when she has him cornered on the bed and the only thing Glenn was worried about was Dr. Cthulhy not letting he be at the clinic with him anymore if she found out.

The hell? I thought Sapphentite really sufferred a non-cured disease. Actually, its not an actual disease. She really love to teased people, eh? Its just her lied that never had a chance to tell the truth. But, Doctor Glenn knew everything and ofc Sapphentite would embarassed with that fact, and almost rape him. Lol. What a funny story they had, and i don't even care with the city drama that appeared ironically in the middle of their romantic relations. Also, about that Harpie sickness. Was that supposed to be a suffering or a pleasure for her? Both of them seems pretty legit for me. Lmao

Well obviously she has an incurable case of leukemia. There were hidden hints all over the previous episodes. I guess she has about 8 episodes of air time left to live. Such a tragedy.

Things are starting to get a little interesting as the good doctor Glenn finds out that the slavers were kidnapping harpies and making them produce eggs to sell for a high price. Glenn finds where the slavers are keeping the harpies and helps one of them deliver another egg. We get a little more backstory on Saphee's clan being assassins, but it wasn't much of a secret since Glenn's family already knew about it.

It's obvious that Saphee is madly in love with Glenn whether he knows it or not.

Cause the males don't get screentime...

The anime's title is literally "Monster Musume" aka "Monster Girls"... lol

Also, LOL, Saphee's illness is being Yandere for Doc. (and he just made Sapphee even more cray-cray for him... good thing Sapphee is still under the effect of the poison else Doc would end up in Snuu-Snuu situation)

Also Also... her "assassination techs..." is literally just throwing people with her tail... lol

And we got another Harpie laying egg scenario.

And yes... Saphee was just joking about the sudden pregnancy.

And here I was thinking she wasn't able to have children or something dramatic like that yet it results that her incurable disease is just the unmeasurable love she feels towards Glenn, D'aww~

I've been really enjoying this show, although there's always at least 1-2 ecchi scenes that make me pretty uncomfortable in each episode.

That was kind of shocking though, that the "hostage" Sapphee was actually given orders to kill their whole family if negotiations fell through. Who was really the hostage in this situation? Damn.

The bed scene was really cute except for when the "poison" made her go crazy for 30 seconds...

Still haven't really been able to find a girl I like. Skadi perhaps, but honestly all the other girls are mostly just annoying. Saphentite is obnoxiously jealous of everyone around her, Lulala has an awfully annoying screeching voice, Kunai is a haughty bitch and Tisalia... is kinda fine I suppose. Ojousama girls aren't really my type though. They generally feel irritating as characters, more than anything.

Saphee has two secrets. One is that she is actually a killer, but Glenn has known it for a long time and has not said it. He is at her side all the time, which makes Saphee feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The other may be that she loves sensei. The so-called incurable disease is just love. And love is poison. Maybe Kaguya-sama can refer her to a good doctor. ๏ผˆ๏ผพ๏ผฏ๏ผพ๏ผ‰ In addition, the fight scene is good in this episode.

Sepphee was just messing around with dr. Glenn. It's just a box with an egg in it, and apparently it's a harpy's.

Soon after, the party of bandits which previously stalked dr. Glenn arrived in the clinic's doorstep, which left dr. Glenn and Sepphee no choice but to escape, only to get involved further and joined Skadi's party. The doctor's help was needed though, since they were rescuing enslaved harpies, expecting the worst condition possible.

I wonder something, though. If the bandits were really after the egg, why would they stalk dr. Glenn instead of the spider girl?

Confronted by the bandits, they reveal themselves to be mercenaries, out of work and desperate for money. Even in a peaceful world, not all people can live peacefully, or maybe they haven't really tried yet?

It brings me to a realization that even in the real world, you can't satisfy everyone. There will always be the ones making troubles.

Kunai wasn't lying when she said Skadi could handle herself. The council representative could mow down enemies in an instant.

The harpies were not ok since their wings lacked natural oil, also one of them suffered from stress-induced prolonged labour, requiring dr. Glenn's help. He was right, the condition was critical. I can imagine what will happen if an egg trapped in the fallopian tube, which can turn into worst case scenario if the egg break inside.

Protecting dr. Glenn and the harpies, Sapphee got struck by poisoned dagger and soon lost consciousness. She then woke up on a bed with dr. Glenn on her side. Thanks to both her nature of poison resistance and dr. Glenn's immediate help, she only suffered from drowsiness. Both exchanged their memories in the past, which came into a revelation that both of them and their families were after each other's throat back in the days. Quite scary. But thankfully things went well with the war.

What an intimate moment quickly turned into an almost rape scene when Sapphee fell in love with dr. Glenn all over again and couldn't contain her feelings and assaulted dr. Glenn. I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but the poison was still not completely eliminated and she collapsed again and failed her rape attempt.

Sapphe is quite hot when she is aggressive.

Ah, sorry I wrote quite too much again. I just really love this series so far I had to write it down.

Those flashbacks led to a pretty cute ending.

Would almost say cute episode, but then I remembered Glenn was kneading some oviduct for a good bit. Why the man feels the need to stick his hands in every orifice the creature's bodies have to offer I have no clue.
