Signs for know that this is the same old trash, The Designs. The guy looks boring and average so that the audience can more easily imagine themselves in place of the MC. Since Japanese males from teen to twenties are the primary demographic |

Looks like a decent lineup to me, so this anime should be at least slightly above average. I hope so |

Looks right up my alley as long as they don't butcher the original, I just check before watching every anime is it butchered or not... That is how myself works. I stopped assasins pride and Infinite dungeodram after I found out butchering complains, better to read the manga or novel then. |

being based on the light novel doesn't mean that it will definitely become same or trash. This spring we have Hamefura, bookworm and Balance:UNLIMITED. Summer we have re:zero,Oregairu,SAO,danmachi.fall we have slime,86. Do they have same story?Remember writing a good story is easier than writing good story and drawing well. |

I'm one of those people that just... do not care about the designs on their own? Besides, the female lead doesn't look that bad however I do get why some people wouldn't like the male one. With that said, I'm gonna hold on with what I think and not make any conclusions overall. Tho from the first impression, they didn't showed much. At least from the little it has shown, it does look competent. |

What if they saw how imperfect the original is and in the adaptation asked to do it differently? The AUTHOR ITSELF"? Might provide some interesting development. That should be the wikipedia definition for "generic art". ChromaFire said: Hmmm wondering why they changed the MC's eyecolor from a vibrant blue to just normal black? Maybe they thought "vibrant blue" does not exist and giving him these eyes will only make the heads of the viewers ache stronger, as they would be trying to accustom themselves to the sheer originality and lack of realism? Something along those lines, or not. |

Better than these anime designs at least, the MC looks exactly like Kenja no Mago's MC, you'd think they're the same character if you didn't know better. |

This series is like: PSEUDO-SCIENCE vs PSEUDO-MAGIC with Romeo and Juliet Side Characters include busty loli senpai, tsundere assistant, spectacled onee-san, bitchy milf, angry dark-skinned loli and kuudere boi... |
