| Sword Art Online continues to set the bar for poorly you can do pacing and worldbuiling. Why the hell is there a time-skip 6 episodes in? What the fuck? Why was everything that happened between now and then told to us and briefly shown? This is awful. They keep time-skipping the interest stuff that grounds Kirito, like him struggling to build his skill, and as a result all his accomplishments feel cheap because it doesn't feel like he's earned them. | -Something something time skip. I don't mind it. I'm more interested in what will transpire and how the characters react than I am seeing Kirito's incremental growth to "learn and become strong" at this point (would rather see how he grows in reaction to the plot-pertinent and more substantial events to come). However, while we seem to miss a lot of Euguo's development, it seems that on a mental level he still doubts himself, so there's still some development to be had. -First Seed be like THOU HAST DISHONORED ME. WE SHALL DUE WITH REAL SWORDS. I get he's supposed to be a bad person, but this is rather overkill and contrived lol. -Hmm the craftsman with a mind for self-branding and marketing there. Such a weapon will probably not go unnoticed, and by having a skilled and promising swordsman wield it, eventually people might become curious and he could gain reputation. -Something something believe in yourself and you can rewrite the laws = asspulls? |

| Hmm, I don't know... first this series was good but in the last three eps they are really twisting logic up and down. I mean, how come noone was ever able to kill anyone in this world when there are bullies like that. They even have gladiator arenas and fighting with real weapon.. surely at least some accident had to happen, right? Also, Kirito is there for fucking two years already.. I mean, that's very long time for living. Hasn't he ever wondered why he is there for so long? Why no rejection of this world happened in his regard? He doesn't even know what Asuna, his sister and all other people are doing in the real world.. and in two years... he should be at least a bit desperate about his situation... or... If he ever comes back he should be someone completely different. Two years of not seeing your loved one... off of the eyes - off of the heart. Or maybe he never loved Asuna as much as she thought? And one more things... if he ever wakes from this dream... it would be serious shock for him. Everyone he got to know in all those years there will be gone, all of his virtual friends would disappear. I don't know if anything but this should pretty much destroy him. Not to mention that after quite some time there he would be seriously thinking if the world he came from was even real and in several months there he would probably adapt to this virtual world completely. Generally, this episode wasn't half-bad and great to see well-done from hero to zero type of show (this time with SAO cheats TM) but I see way too many holes in the plot they want us to believe in. |

| 2 years already? that's a huge time jump, even if it wasn't significant in the real world, damn. Oh man, what an exciting duel, I hope Kirito hasn't lost any of his skills, at the end of the day, this world is based on The Seed. |

| It's been two years since Eugeo and Kirito left the village and they got involved in an academy for swordsman. Kirito gets a flashy new sword that looks super clean. He gets caught practicing on a day of rest by the alpha male who then challenges him to a duel with real swords. Time for Kirito to finally show the "Aincrad Style" of swordfighting to everyone. |

| So now if they have the confidence that they will win they become massively overpowered, but when Kirito did that at the start of this series with the Rose Sword on the Demon Tree it did nothing? The plot for this series is starting to get holes Edit: Kirito's sword is stunning, I'd love a cast of that irl |
