I'm happy they show that mysterious pokemon which you may already know by now in the beginning, next week episode looks promising too. |

| Pokemon stop dick-riding Charizard challenge FAILED! Anyway despite my annoyance at Gyarados losing, I gotta admit the fight was pretty great. Can Cynthia beat the fuck out Leon please. I wanna see Garchomp curbstomp that overrated not-a-dragon Pokemon to the ground. Dynamax Pikachu next episode! |

| I can't believe Satoshi and Gou could have died in a plane crash because of Mugendaina. lol And I just knew Dande was going to win this match since he is the new hot, really hot, thing, but a part of me was rooting, in vain, for Wataru. Well, it's okay, Dande is also really cool, and it was a really intense, long and cool battle too. I wasn't expecting the episode to end in a cliffhanger like that though, can't wait for the next one! |

| I'm glad that they did justice to Leon's male tits. Also wow, the battle was a lot better than expected, with actually a table of types and moves being used with logic, and OF COURSE the music in the background similar to the games, it was a good episode. |

Welcome to my TED talk. Leon's Charizard just tanked a Dragon Dance boosted Aqua Tail from a Gyrados. I would like to make the argument that this is complete bullshit. The only situation this could be possible is if Gyrados has an ATK reducing nature and 0 ATK IVs and Charizard has a DEF boosting nature with maxed 31 EF IVs. If even one of these conditions fails, Charizard gets OHKOed, and you're telling me Leon's just shrugged it off? Bruh. It may not be obvious, but I'm messing around. The anime very clearly falls a different sense of logic than the games. I didn't actually care who won this, especially considering how obvious it was that Leon was going to win. Everything after the Aqua Tail was good stuff. |
| Episodes like this makes me wish that there was more of an overarching storyline in Pokemon. I mean, there's so much potential with all the competitions and trainer out there. |

| Kinda weird that they gave Ash the "someone needs to not know this so the audience can learn" idiot ball back in this episode. Before now, it felt like Go was supposed to exist as the newcomer so Ash could show his knowledge as a veteran. The animation wasn't anything to write some about either.... Or maybe my standards are stupidly high after Twilight Wings. Just kinda a meh episode overall IMHO. |

| OMG episode. finally a proper fight being animated in the whole pokemon series, that was amazing and done well as a pokemon championship should be, hope to see more of those. secondly, didn't saw that cliffhanger end coming even one bit. |
| so now we get godzilla fights in pokemon as well. thank you japan I always wanted a world cup style tournament in pokemon apart from the regional ones so that we could see all the different pokemon from different regions in one place and it's cool to finally have one. but why is the final battle just a single pokemon battle? would be great if it was a full sis on six battle |
