| I never really cared for this arc because of the predictability and how obvious the outcomes were before even seeing the cooking battles, but this episode was definitely a strong one imo. The callbacks to earlier things like the transforming furikake and of course, squid legs with peanut butter xD, were nice, as well as hearing the first OP again. Everything came full circle, I don't think any of us expected Souma's disgusting joke creation to ever play an integral part in.....well, any aspect of the story lol. emraanash said: I am gonna drop the series I think... should i keep going? is there something interesting coming up? Finish the last episode of this season then drop if you want. The final arc that's gonna be adapted next April is literal trash and you're better off finishing your experience with this series on this note. |

Only SnS to make me watch half of an episode about people eating a dish and another half people getting naked because the dish was too good ahahah Hearing the 1 OP was amazing! It reminded me of all that we've been through the 1st episode! What a ride! SnS, BnH, SnK! But for real! What an episode and what a duo! And that ending!  |

| I'm so glad they won. I knew they could pull it out. I was expecting a "The rebels lost, but I liked their food so much that they stay" ending. Thankfully they won! Great episode, great season. Really love this show and I'm so glad it's getting another season. I really couldn't ask for anything more from a cooking related show. |

| As a manga reader, I don't mind if the anime kinda ended here with that throwback of the first Opening... Also really a great development for Erina here. Next Episode is going to be (kinda) a change of arc for upcoming season which will aired in Summer 2020. Hopefully they'll deliver it good, because that arc is kinda up and down for me as a manga reader. If you think "The gifting" is quite absurd here, you'll see it to be more ridiculous later in the next season. So I kinda waiting for that to happen lol. |

| This left me almost speechless, absolutely fantastic episode. Big props to the staff. The Souma x Erina combo that took advantage of each others strenghts, Erina looking back at the last few months and the encounter with the people that shaped her to become who she is today, the confrontation with her dad, it was all perfectly executed and presented. The build up to the blessing was also amazing. My body and mind were already brimming with emotions as the face-off was unfolding front of me, but first opening truly elevated the whole scenario to another level and I couldn't hold it anymore. | I absolutely loved this episode so much! Erina's overall development in this episode was fantastic. Her smile is beyond precious! The moment the op started playing I had the biggest smile on my face all the way until the end of the episode. |

| 5/5 enjoyment 1/5 writing. The gifting is ridiculous at this point lol Basically, with the poorly explained antagonists, a goal too stupid to be put into reality and with the show being one-sided, Azami just ousted himself. |

| Okay, I'm speechless here. It's been a barren season in all honesty so far compared to the previous 3 and a half seasons but this episode might've just topped it all. Nakiri's progression this episode alone is out of this world. Using Soma's creations as a fiery weapon and activating the ridiculous "Gifting" plus the 1st Op to hype things up, this is Shounen at its epitome. And the "Osamatsu" in the end... On the other hand, Nakiri Azami-san's finally admitted defeat and the full extent of his revolution out in the open. Of course keeping everyone in a fake haven would keep away struggles but how's that supposed to save the culinary industry. You'd destroy Japan's food to smithereens had this prevailed, I'm afraid. Hopefully, we'll get to see more of Soma's mother by the way. Been a while since we've got a reference to her and why not Erina's in the process after the little appetizer here. Next episode's title, looks like things are going to be roller coasting. My guess would be Erina 1st Rank and Souma 2nd but let's see. |

| Hahahaha, everyone got naked! Souma is brilliant! He did what Senzaemon wanted for Erina. Erina finally made her own dish and conquered new highs in cooking! She proofed herself. Finally the Central is down, we will have new Elite ten and a whole lotta new adventures!  |

| I.... am confused about my feelings for this episode, but what I can confirm is that in terms of entertainment and keeping me locked in, this episode was the best that I've watched in the past couple seasons of this series. But it's not the best for the pure quality at the same time. This final dish of Erina, her specialty main dish, was so entertaining to watch and satisfying seeing Azami just lose control of his ability and having everyone lose their clothes Kill la Kill style, and there was a ton of nostalgia with so many references to the past from the squid tentacles and peanut butter actually making a dish better, to those cubes and egg dish that Soma prepared when he first met Erina, and much more. In terms of an actual specialty dish, this was really stupid and overly ridiculous, but in terms of fun, I fucking had a blast with this episode I'll admit. It's so cheesy and farfetched, but given what all happened in this series prior and how dry the series had been for so long, this kicked some ass with some energy. And it at least gave a good platform for Erina's characterization to truly blossom in the final stage as she defeats her father and Central, and everyone she cares for is back in the Academy, and her teammates who helped her have some Elite Ten spots too. The cooking and the dishes and the process made fucking no sense, but it was fun. I really wished this season was the final one and not the next one. What a wasted opportunity to actually end it well enough compared to the shit that would be introduced soon. Same goes for the manga, should have ended with this portion. |

Le Plat Veritable. Delinquent Daughter style. Dat flashback. Dat sound. OH SHIT!!!!!! THEY PLAYED THE 1ST OP SONG. Dem dress breaks! Ryoko bra and pantsu! Erina oppai. Anne and Courage dress break. Azami got dress break'd. They won. Osomatsu! Dat ending. The hype when they playe dthe 1st op song. The funny thing is that I expected some Season 1 moment to help them win and then it actually happened, especially with the rice seasoning cubes. |
