| A really wholesome way to conclude the team shokugeki, Erina and Souma blasted em together. Erina saying Souma's catchphrase was sweet, one my fav moment in the entire series. Now time to see the aftermath of the team shokugeki. |

| Foodgasm for the win even Azami himself. Seeing the ultimate gifting pulse was funny xD. Erina finally finds her specialty through her friends that she met in the academy. Didn't expect the peanut butter squid. First-year students as elite tens hmmm sounds interesting. Also at the very end it says next week is the last video :O |

| This is the peak of Erina's character development. Going from a bitchy, stuck-up elitist to fighting (= cooking) for the sake of her friends (and herself) employing the tricks she learned from Souma and finding her own path, instead of Azami's one. The usage of the peanut butter squid along with the technique that Souma used for his dish the first time they meet, coupled with the very first opening of the series playing in the background just cemented it. Azami's breakdown was simply epic and hilarious. There was not better way to defeat him than her daughter going rebel against him copying the modus operandi of the son of the man he admired in the past. Simply amazing. By far one of my favorite episodes of the anime. Next episode is the last one before the glorious trainwreck that is awaiting us in the 5th season, of course. For its title, I guess it will be a send-off to Azami and Tsukasa/Rindou/the other Elite 10 members that have accompanied us through this extense arc. |

| Erina's specialty dish is just a combination of things she's learned from Soma. If that doesn't intensify the ship idk what will. Seeing Erina and Soma smiling together was pretty cute But hot damn this was a nice episode. This final battle is really the only shokugeki that was actually reminiscent of the beginning seasons. Thought it was a 2 cour season though, is it being split cour or a brand new season? Oh well, now we enter the so called worst arc with chainsaw cooking and magic or something |

| OSOMATSU! That final scene was literally the best part of the episode for me. Fantastic episode. Erina's dish overpowering Azami through pure instinct even though his mind is rejecting it was very satisfying to see. The part where the Gift just goes berserk on everyone in the vicinity was ridiculous but amusing to watch. Loved the first OP insert, when that started playing, I was like 'Yeah!' but I did miss the usual use of 'The Secret ingredient called Victory'. Erina was just great this episode. <3 |

| Damn this episode was a masterpiece! Souma managed to made Erina do her max best, like Souma used her god tongue to elevate his dish, she also managed to use that gross dish from Souma and also some hint from season one were used there, and also Rindou reaction to her dish was like a modified from the Erina's reactionf from that dish from season one made by Souma! Erina's reaction and pure smile towards Souma because he sait they work better using it as a shokugeki was epic and too precious! Azami against her will had to acknouledge Erina, being unable to control her gifting reaction, that moment was awesome and funny, with a lot of explosions, and it was also good to see every girl underwear after losing their clothes thanks to Azami's gifting! Hazako's and Erina's moment was heartwarming and cute! Last moment when Souma tell Erina to finish the bout with his line was so damn epic and glorious!  Sadly next episode will be the last! Looking forward to it! |

| This was one of the greatest episodes of the franchise. Erina was amazing and the way they managed to beat Rindo and Tsukasa was utterly brilliant. By using Souma's disgusting dishes and his first dish he let Erina taste, to create her own specialty! I have to say seeing those dishes again, including the peanut butter squid was really nice! Seeing Azami make these faces was so satisfying, but this gifting of his really backfired on him. His gifting gave way what he really thought of the dish. Now I hope he packs his bags and LEAVE already! So next week already the last episode? I was hoping it would be a 2 cour again... Unless it will be a split cour again like the 3rd season. |

| This was really the best gift we could have wished for the Christmas and really grand finale to whole the series. The moment when Kibou no Uta started playing, they totally got me as everything came full circle in the end. Really great idea to bring it back. Remember those days, guys :) (may as well as rewatch the first season after this end) The LAST EPISODE the next time, let's hope for some satisfying closure and good sendoff. |

| This ep feels like a last episode of the whole series. I'm like while watchin the ep "how the fuck they gonna win if they didnt follow the proper gourmet and they havin shokugeki to one another" After the ep "ah okay that how it was they need to make erinas father strip all the people xD" I'm happy for Erina after all this time rebelling , she finally reach her worth and passion to her father. So Soma step a side and let Erina shine in this Final Shokugeki, very nice. |

The camera panning across still shots does not count as animation. Now I'm ready for the next season which will inevitably be the lowest scored Soma season in the database. You guys can still save yourself if you stop watching Soma after this episode. |

| Oof, this episode was just amazing, simply put amazing. The overall season prior to this had been a downgrade, the episode really did help a lot to make up for the early mediocrity that was holding back this season. All the speeches/dialogues, the allegorical depiction of the foodgasms, Erina's & Soma's teamwork, the conflict with Azami + the overall tension throughout, Erina's development coming a full circle & shining at its brightest....everything was simply magnificent. The conclusion of the episode was also done in a very neat & memorable way too, with a exactly correct timing of the 1st OP playing in the background at the end. Being a huge battle-shounen fan myself, I simply have to admit that this episode definitely trumps several great battle shounen episodes. Honestly who even needs intense core-shaking action, gore & blah blah blah when a shounen can maintain such strong tension & compelling vibe without? The early seasons of Food Wars strongly exemplified this & this episode did it yet again (finally, after the dip in quality that was notable in the latter seasons including this one). The dip in quality was primarily evident in the cooking competitions when it came to this season, meaning that this season badly needed an upswing in quality in that aspect as it was nearing its conclusion, and that is exactly what this episode delivered, with a bang. From a narrative standpoint this episode was so much satisfactory as well, since Erina's backstory with Azami & the whole ordeal the struggle of Soma & the rebels to overcome Azami's imposing perfectionist methods was given such a neat closure in a manner that was remarkable. This episode basically just paved the way for a strong finish for a season that was struggling for momentum beforehand & also reignited the "life" in a franchise once again, that was showing signs of detoriating day by day. Overall, great stuff. My love for Food Wars! has been rekindled once again due to this. :) |

| You know that feeling when the OG OP song, Kibou no Uta, starts playing that things are going to be awesome, and boy oh boy, was it AWESOME! XD It was really satisfying to see Azami acting so angry and scared of Erina's cooking and despite his protests, his gifting ability went into overdrive and made the majority of the entire cast close to him strip down to their underwear. Top points to Satoshi for his fabulous pose when he was stripped to his loincloth. ^_^ With this victory in the bag for the rebels, Central is history. No idea if we'll get a continuation via a split cour or not, but if the next episode is truly the final one, then what a long and enjoyable journey this show has been. =3 |
| Lol a contest within a contest how very like soma. Still the effect that it had on Erina sure was interesting as while teamwork may not have worked effectively using the talents of both Soma and Erina this way will make much better use of them. Little Erina though was pretty cute. Still if anything Erina's dishes really were quite surprising. But the dishes did well to show Erina's determination to not only break free of her father but also of her desire to create dishes that she wants. The effects though sure proved to be most entertaining as the gifting literally roars through the crowd. Its nice to see Hisako also express the feelings that she has been able to realise as a result of the bonds that she had made with the others to Azami directly. In the end Erina and Soma's teamwork really delivered on an excellent victory for the rebel alliance. |
