Started reading Tanya the Little Nazi. It’s actually really good. It quotes a lot of philosophy, war philosophy, psychological studies, and academic institutes. They put a little blurb at the bottom defining/explaining them and even provide sources you can go to like a proper citation you would see in a published study

I was reading the Nier book, but it’s a pretty boring 1:1 of the game. Maybe the other one is better, because it explains the stuff the doesn’t happen in the game, but so far this is much better. I just bought the first book to see if I would like it before buying them all, but now I’m going all in. What happens if I want to read ahead of the anime, though. I’ve never done that before. I don’t think I want to ruin it, but I also don’t want to have books that I’ll never read for like a decade 🤔🤔🤔

I think the second one is short stories separate from the game. I heard it was better.

The Tanya books are $17 and the kindle is $10, so can’t complain. The kindle would make it slightly less awkward to read on the train, but it is what it is and I would much prefer having the physical books in the long run.
