this anime is actually the one that brought me in to the genre

but sadly
there's just static between the 1st and 2nd season
im just sad that one of the best anime (in my opinion) is incomplete

i think the writer/director is upset but cant do much because of company/corporate or even life stuff
well we can only hope
it has such a great developing story too, which is just sad

Its April 2019 already and its more than 10 years, we should leave the dream of a second season. In my opinion this is the end of the anime because we all have a little glimpse of what will be his choice...
He will surely go for mizuno she is the one he always adored and she likes him too..
this simply gives the glimpse of the forward story...

We are in 2021 and the second season has yet to be announced. I'm afraid that nothing will be done, after 10 years I see it difficult, also the anime has only adapted the first 3 volumes and at this precise moment we have 5 total volumes, not even 6 ... the only positive thing is the release a few months ago of chapter 34.5 after 3 years of hiatus, so the author still has to leave the series.

I have viewed this series around the time of its release and was excited to hear that they planned to have a second season. Many years later and I have admittedly forgotten about this shows existence until recently. I decided to re-watch it for the nostalgia and to laugh at my old simplistic tastes when growing up. Alas on the final episode as they close out mentioning how they can't wait for a season two, a memory was triggered and went to go search for the second season to then find this forum discussing about it's evident nonexistence. It's fair to say there won't be a second season after 12 years, so I just wanted to ask if y'all think the manga is worth the read? I hear it's still incomplete though and progressing at a very slow rate. Thanks for the forum! Glad to see people still care about this series a little bit.

Nyan Koi is a good candidate for a season 2 since Nyan Koi, even though its a silly anime, it does have a romance that can draw another season.

But this anime ended in 2009, so its now almost 12 years since it ended.

What has surprised me the most is that it hasnt even gotten an OVA/special episode.
