| The ride to the Cathedral came to a sudden stop once they arrived, as the pilot braked very aggressively. As he was lowering the ship to the floor and the entrances opened, the pilot spoke up once again "Alright, we're here. Now protect the ship while our V.I.Ps arrive." They wouldn't need to get out to hear the gunshots in the distance, even with the heavy rain. The group they came to meet wasn't here yet, but they did come across a problem, a pack of eight creatures were charging towards them, they somewhat resembled small bears, but with big claws and a huge, teeth filled mouth for a head. |
Lyn "Arice" Barde  "God I'm way too ordinary. I need to stand out" The vehicle had come to a complete stop, ordered to now protect the ship while the V.I.P.s arrive and got into the ship. "Alright Akira, lets go save those bastards" I encouraged as I waited for Akira to charge with me to stop the creatures from reaching the V.I.P.s. I decided I wouldn't draw my sword since the muscle inside these creatures might just get my sword stuck inside them. Akira can take care of the killing while I can simply empower him and use my magic to at least hurt these creatures. I opened my cybernetic hand, just to make sure it was working fine before I decided I was ready. Once Akira was ready to charge, I'd charge along with him. Depending on the strength of our enemies, I'd decide if I should empower Akira or not. For now, I feel as if they need to be examined first before I give Akira some power. We do seem to have the element of surprise on our side since the creatures seems to be more focused on the group rather than us. I readied myself for this fight, hoping to finish the mission while safely keeping my life @Zelda102 |

"Theone that brings life and has endless rage. I call oppond your power. Flames Of Fuji!" he would toss the flame at one of them as he charges at it. It is a simple spell and not very power but still can deal Minor fire damage to the one it hits and being flams can catch things on fire. He would do a fast jab with his blade before backing out of range or trying to. ----Flames Of Fuji cooldown 1/2---- _______________________________________________ Abi arrives a bit late because she had to go get something from her home on the way here... It was still heavy even for here to just hold. She hope that man could use this bow..and the arrows this thing used was big as well. She see this happing and wait to see what happens next as she runs to gett up to them |
| The pack of monsters they saw were the least of the worries of the soldiers approaching, as they were fending off some other creature. So Akira's attack was actually what saved the scientists, as their focus changed from the VIPs, to Akira and Lyn. The monster hit by the fireball screeched in pain, but the rain managed to lit off the possible fire, leaving only a small wound, and anger, behind. The jab he made hit that same monster, which was the closest to him, in the shoulder. The monster tried to retaliate by slashing at Akira, but he managed to back up in time to avoid it completely. But he wasn't safe by any means. Once it recovered, the monster charged at Akira, followed by another for, all readying their claws to slash at Akira's lower and middle body, except one that decided to dive towards his chest mouth first. As for Lyn, the remaining three monsters charged at her in the same fashion. They weren't quite smart, were they? |
Lyn "Arice" Barde "God I'm way too ordinary. I need to stand out" I smirk as I see the monsters split their numbers against us and decide to go after us instead. Though the fireball didn't do much, at least the mission isn't compromised. "Hope you'll be fine over there Akira!" I say as I draw my blade. Prototype Bedivere, my blade in which I can slash my opponents as I stopped just a bit behind Akira. I then lifted my left hand, casting Magus Orpheus against the beasts. One of these beasts will get hit by my shot since they are easily a big target. The three circles encase the magical energy inside as it bursts into a beam that was shot towards the three beasts after me. Regardless if I had hit or missed, I ran off to the side opposite of Akira in order to keep him from suddenly getting overrun by three other beasts. My agility should be able to evade the beasts attacks. My only concern is if Akira can handle five beasts. They don't seem to smart though, thinking with their muscles rather than their brains. If they can't predict my next moves, they won't seem to be able to kill us so easily. I needed to evade the three beasts first, then go in for a counterattack. Knowing how dumb these beasts may be, I might just try it again and again until I manage to kill them off. I need to be careful of any cliffs however. One wrong misstep and I might just fall to my doom. Rather, I should have them charge at me and fall off on their own. Maybe do some bullfighting, or that is what I at least heard of when I was reading books from before the Fall of Eru. First things first is to evade them and then I can proceed with my plan. @Zelda102 |

Faction: ๐ฃ๐ฑ๐ฎ ๐๐ท๐ญ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ธ๐พ๐ท๐ญ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ธ๐ท He quickly grab his Rapier and jabs it at the charging monster as he flicks it and twist it as he side steps to make the monsters miss or he hopes. If it work he would slash with his claws at it back as it travled past him and jab it just behind it knee. If not he would try his best to barry his Rapier deep in the monster mouth. _________________________________________________________________ Abi activated her Sparkling Mystic Armor. This makes a set of vambrace with gauntlets. They are made of holy light and She runs and slams one of the first cover in light. Due to her size speed and the Armor it should do some nice damage "So I take it I am to meet you?" She said as she did this. She goes for one that was after the girl. She then takes a stats so she could esaly counter anyone that attack her as she gets her sword out in her free hand and fist ready. |

| Suddenly, all four monsters seemed to freeze in their tracks. The creatures assailing Lyn, Abi and Akira seemed paralyzed, and further inspection would reveal they had all been killed. The soldiers, scientists, and V.I.PS began to let out agonizing shouts while covering their ears. Acute observation would reveal the monsters' eardrums had been ruptured into a swirl that would most closely be related to the swirl one would make of their icecream, and soon the soldiers and scientists began to fall one by one as well. The blood rain seemed to stop its descent, and what remained was a gray horizon and dark red clouds that covered the sky like a blanket. Although the rain had stopped, a loud thundering of rain still oddly resounded throughout the area. A large gust of wind blew down from above, and if the trio (Lyn, Abi, and Akira) would look up they would quickly find the cause of the wind. A large ship hovered over their location. Formed in chrome and steel, the ship hovered over the victims of the sonic attack. A large steel door slid back into the ship, opening up what seemed to be the cargo bay from which 16 steel-cladden soldiers dropped down from. The soldiers began to check the bodies, sinking white steel daggers into the dead while actively killing any survivors. They turned towards the trio and began to approach. @Zelda102 @Avnore_Alter |
Lyn "Arice" Barde "God I'm way too ordinary. I need to stand out" I find myself in a dire situation, steel soldiers finishing any who might possibly be alive off. Our mission to secure the V.I.P.s already failed and we have this problem to deal with now. I grit my teeth as I try to find a way out of this situation other than fight. They have an incredibly powerful weapon with the ship, and sixteen soldiers who seem well trained in combat. However, it isn't all fight it seems as they don't seem to be charging at us as if they want to kill us. "Hey buddies... Care to talk this out?" I ask in a confident tone, hiding my trembling legs, despite how it still trembled no matter how I try to stop it. I look to both my allies, hoping they had a plan of their own. Preferably one that would guarantee our safety. Still, since they haven't spoke and just killed our objective, I can only assume they are hostile forces. Question is, are they willing to talk or are they just here to cause a massacre? |

She was here on a job but did not work for . anyone. |
