| Uhm... couldn't they make Takashi's voice be a bit less annoying?... Anyways, annoying voice aside, it was another average episode. Hikari sensei sure was entertaining to watch but since I'm not really a fan of characters with her personality, I didn't find her that fascinating either. Though those tan lines are definitely a plus in my book. |

| my third favourite couple has arrived, Hika-nee sure knows how to keep her composure but misunderstood it completely lol. the way they adapted the anime from the manga was kinda weak, a lot of shit got cut out like the full body shot of her in that underwear, they just showed it for a few seconds and not emphasize how embarrassing it is (well of course it's a fucking tv show for fucks sake) |

| ATX less censored version has shown. Excessive censorship in regular version is clearly unnecessary. Nipple pasties slightly smaller, but there were no scenes that needed the full screen blackboard treatment. It's a pity we'll have to wait months for the blue-ray uncensored version. |

As for the names of the schools, due to pronunciation rules the actual spelling in English should be Nishi and Higashi which in Kanji are equivalent to West and East (or so my online dictionary indicates). As Suzuki explains, he's just there to carry the heavy stuff for the two sisters who are representing his school. Each of the teachers and students actually represent different archetypes in manga/anime. Kojima is the tsundere (tsun as teacher, dere as girlfriend), while Satou is actually a normal student who gradually accepts the fact (as orchestrated by his mother), that he and Kojima care for each other and are a couple. Matsukaze is a shy and clumsy girl, while Suzuki is the upstanding traditionalist masculine protector (their story is still ongoing as arcs two and three are intertwined). As for Tachibana, she's the genki/tomboy onee-san next door who dominates Taka as a childhood friend. Taka (or the shota in this tale) looks like he's about to turn the tables in this relationship (and based on Tachibana's expressions, it looks as if she may enjoy that). The fourth relationship will feature another pair of archetypes, but I won't give a spoiler as to what they are. |

All the teachers so far are just a few years older than the students, and none of them are actively pursuing the males in the predatory fashion of a 40-year-old divorcee chasing after a 20-year-old snowboarder in a ski bar (I live on a mountain during the winter so I've seen a lot of this). |

| Hooray for tomboys! Especially tanned tomboys! These two are much better than the previous couple, they're a lot more fun to watch. While this show does hit almost every perverted cliche, I still find myself really enjoying it. |

Well, higashi means east, so perhaps it's located east of the other high school. I know in America, it's common to have schools with directions in their name at least in smaller towns. There's also a town in Japan called Higashiosaka so maybe that school is in a neighboring town to the east. |
