THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Nino passed too :D Hard work pays off after all. I hope the anime can somehow reach this point of the series especially with that confession. |

It'd be obvious that Fuutarou didn't hear her, but they were talking perfectly, so I don't know what to think..... Also, Miku was double-betrayed by her sisters: Ichika and now Nino..... |

Glad they all passed. The tutoring is at an end. Nina and the rest are going out on their own. Great confrontation with dad He has no one to blame but himself for them leaving. He gave them the will to move on. The motorcycle ride was great and almost romnatic She is right he should have given the helmet to her or brought another helmet. |

I think, he might have not heard that confession, as it might have been just Nino's inner voice. or just a panel trap. |
"A sword is a weapon, Kenjutsu is the art of killing, Whatever pretty words you use to speak of it, this is its true nature." Otaku always defy common sense. nferocious76 |

Dat confession. Well, I don't think that he heard it because that's happens everytime. Harem Ending or Miku i'll accept no other ending. |

He's doing what a father needs to do and he's also sustaining them with money. What their daughters are doing are completely stupid and wrong and even Nino knows that. The fact that the father don't do anything to get them in the house while he could do that with different means since they're minors shows much more about this than anything. |

He probably didn't hear it or will pretend to not hear it. It's sad how obvious these things in manga are. |

Kuma said: what is this melodramatic scane? feels like some telenovela TV... LMAO What melodramatic scene? This is as straightforward as you can get for harem manga, a breath of fresh air compared to manga like bokuben where it takes 100 chapters for one confession. |

Just pointing what hold me to rate it more higher... As for Bokuben, i don't see it as mainly romance, but comedic sol and romance as side plot... And i do enjoy those hundreds chapter without romance at all.. Author excellent at build character extremely well and likeable with very entertaining comedy and sol with amazing amount of detail realism in study hijinks.... Same can't be said for 5 toubun when not all character likeable, and some drama is cringe af.. And there is nothing to look forward other than romance and drama. If that's what series offer, obviously i deman it much more in exactly what it try to represent it self.. I don't understand why you compare it to bokuben when bokuben it self never try represent it self to be heavy romance to begin with... That's like criticize apple because it's not taste like orange as you want... |

So much serious that she confessed again in the next chapter in most straightforward manner as the mc didn't hear her(the spoilers are out already), when was the last time a harem did that? Beloved bokuben which takes 50 chapters just to get embarassed and get courage to confess with fanservice? Truly Hilarious >how easy these girl swayed Only three girls are swayed- Miku, which was already made clear when they shared a common interest. Nino got an arc for it already. Ichika got helped in her acting career in that festival arc, all valid reasons. Yotsuba and Itsuki are still friends. > Romance that each character need to be conflicted to be developed? No wonder "no progress" manga like bokuben are appreciated lmao. 100 chapters of SoL but no proper confession yet kek >Author excellent at build character extremely well and likeable with very entertaining comedy and sol with amazing amount of detail realism in study hijinks.... Funny, because last few chapters have been mostly fanservice with Sensei character getting blushed and all, "realistic study detail" yeah lol |

It's just what I said, the manga defied that trope only when Nino confessed again in the next chapter(you will see soon) as he didn't hear her, other trash harem manga will conveniently ignore the confession and hence the plot remains stagnant. Breath of fresh air which separated it from other harems. Miku's understanding "history" isn't the only one, it has been shown many times how she appreciated his kindness. It's much better than Rizu reason of bokuben at least. About Nino, you are misunderstanding with "superficial looks". She liked Fuutarou other persona, but liked himv again when he helped all the sisters by actively trying to convince her to get back, quite valid reason. I truly enjoyed SoL comedy of bokuben when it started. Realistic study methods, good comedy, but nowadays it's just cheap fan service with Sensei's character and all(gone are those days of proper student teacher interactions or even romance buildup). Pretty disappointed me with how it turned out. |

The author showed how Nino progressed by- Helping Yotsuba with track field Convincing her father, giving Fuutarou advice not to go against him, and then being the first sister to demand living separately If she didn't redeem herself for you, fine, but a lot of people like her now, just visit any forums like reddit. >bokuben has stayed the same Not gonna even argue with this. Last few sensei chapters- beach chapter, batch chapter, magucal girl chapter, etc and now the last chapter getting all blushed etc with fanservice. The fanservice has obviously increased with her character especially, everyone can see that lol, im fact it's a popular complaint in forums.Where are the good career advice, interactions from the start of the manga? Nowhere, because the manga is out of ideas. That panel you were showing isn't even a teaching technique, just a topic clarification, there are better panels available to show that tbh |

Much better than 80chapters of Rizu showing attraction, "costumized with nariyuki kindness"(but also showing jealously lol) or trying to find out whatever. Yes they are cliched, but one is more and that is bokuben. Not gonna bother with examples since whole sensei character itself is the prime evidence now. About sensei character very poor excuses, SoL hijinks doesn't mean you make her a fanservice mascot, in fact bokuben actually has a good example of that with proper comedy SoL tropes- fumino character, or even few chapters of Senpai, sadly the only one whose chapters I enjoy now. Rest are lame fanservice efforts, "recent chapter" is chap 84 which exactly shows that, sensei getting all blushed reading that manga, fanservice panels, end. She is an established character so what, why not proper interactions of backstory/career for romance? Lots of SoL moments available for that too.Because the manga doesn't have any ideas. Sadly that sums up the poor quality of it. |

(like nino this chapter which usually has stright abrupt aproach of problem suddenly wait to be saved by MC)... and again, we already give underlaying story of each character backstory/problem (like sensei trauma with ballets despite his injuries supposed to not that bad, or fumino problem with his family)... but again, author takes time, and fine with it, because the series it self doesn't rush the pace them self and doesn't try to be one faster romance to begin with, and many of it reader (including me) understood that (hence why their ranking is still good and their sales also pretty well)... That panel you were showing isn't even a teaching technique, just a topic clarification, there are better panels available to show that tbh again, sensei character already stable, and it would made less sense if she that easy to developed.... thus why most of her (or most character) is hijinks sol comedy... and also, of course it's about shy blused, again, it's episodic sol with romance, slow progress, which i don't mind... i found it actually quite not that slow, at least compare to most romance i have been read (accostumized with those long run romance)... also, the recent chapter is they visit university, did you miss those? i just mentioned most recent one... You know right all those manga examples you gave aren't remotely similar to this circumstance example? Lol whatever the trope is there tho.... >which just suddenly fall in love becaue "he understood my obesession"... then accostumized come later and suddenly try to made reason to confess (which is rejected by ichika) Digitalexile said: Liked him because shared a common interest Properly fell in love as she came to know him more, that child chapter etc showing his kindness Then thought of confessing after becoming the best student(didn't work for Ichika but that's another thing) Works perfectly fine. Much better than 80chapters of Rizu showing attraction, "costumized with nariyuki kindness"(but also showing jealously lol) or trying to find out whatever. lOl, it's all happening in one fucking arc (which is 2 chapter, which has like 2 event, LMAO), from looking down as pervert, to love.... the other also in one chapter... if that's not easy and abrupt, i don't know what is... and again, rizu has 0 problem of this, they are complitly different wth different circumtances... i don't know why you try to compare it... you want instant development of someone who have 0 idea about feelings, let alone love... and it's about character hijinks comedy, not some romance drama... i don't know what do you expect from bokuben? you are enforcing your own prefference value into series that never try to offer it to begin with... Digitalexile said: Yes they are cliched, but one is more and that is bokuben. Not gonna bother with examples since whole sensei character itself is the prime evidence now. Sensei character is like that, to begin with... and any sudden development out of it as very out of her character... and her chapter is about her gap moe... and it's deliver exactly that that well as different chapter show different side of gap moe from her stubborness (like maid chapter) into her wild imagination, easily influenced out of her conciousness and cold demeanor (recent chapter).... again, i don't know what do you expect... Digitalexile said: About sensei character very poor excuses, SoL hijinks doesn't mean you make her a fanservice mascot, in fact bokuben actually has a good example of that with proper comedy SoL tropes- fumino character, or even few chapters of Senpai, sadly the only one whose chapters I enjoy now. Sadly that sums up the poor quality of it. let's just change her character just to be "fresh", and you get those cheap drama (which i criticize in go toubun)... if anything, what lame is how toubun treated their character as mere story, doesn't feel character, change easyly because how the story convinience for it to went... Slyver said: iirc, Itsuki is the only one who hasn't poured her feelings this kind of interesting considering out of 5, she is the closest one towards fuutarou... i wonder if this the sign story probably still can lasted for very long... and i don't have to affraid that this ended anytime soon... Lol what? I was talking about Nino confessing twice circumstance, lol whatever like I said you totally didn't understand it. Nothing about Miku for manga examples. >it's all happening in one fucking arc Miku has one arc initially at the very start, that child chapter is in chapter 20s, "one arc" kek, and there are more SoL chapters with Miku. This is the problem with argument, you haven't understood half of the things I said above. Gap moe is fine, not fan service mascot kek. You can have that personality fine with hood character interactions. >rants about toubun when I criticized sensei because can't come up with arguments defending her(because there aren't any except "she is like that gap moe" lmao) Epitome of argument, good luck with that lol |

Kuma said: what is this melodramatic scane? feels like some telenovela TV... LMAO What melodramatic scene? This is as straightforward as you can get for harem manga, a breath of fresh air compared to manga like bokuben where it takes 100 chapters for one confession. Hey, i don't see this series bad btw... That's like criticize apple because it's not taste like orange as you want... >pseudo confession You realized that she was serious about the confession right? So much serious that she confessed again in the next chapter in most straightforward manner as the mc didn't hear her(the spoilers are out already), when was the last time a harem did that? Beloved bokuben which takes 50 chapters just to get embarassed and get courage to confess with fanservice? Truly Hilarious too many times! it's has his own term, cuckblock... the way to dragged the plot by force, which happen like everyone harem out there when MC convession is conviniently ignored or interupted... at least bokuben doesn't even use it... LMAO... Digitalexile said: >how easy these girl swayed Only three girls are swayed- Miku, which was already made clear when they shared a common interest. Nino got an arc for it already. Miku: He understood my history, GRASP Ichika: pretty justifiable for her Nino: Superficial looks misunderstood with convinient times ironically, yotsuba and itsuki relationship with fuutarou is most interesting one... one is abrupt with no explanation yet, when the other is stay true to her character and both ideals blockhead meet each other perfectly fit... No wonder "no progress" manga like bokuben are appreciated lmao. 100 chapters of SoL but no proper confession yet kek that's exactly what it premise given... there is no mention about confession or stright romance to begin with... coming age of romance story... unlike toubun which has set end.... SOL comedy is what i looking for for bokuben, not romance, which they do good job for, which is can't be said same for toubun try to offer that not even that excelent at that.... >too many times! it's has his own term, cuckblock... the way to dragged the plot by force, which happen like everyone harem out there when MC convession is conviniently ignored or interupted... at least bokuben doesn't even use it... LMAO... You didn't understand my sentence even and arguing, lmao. It's just what I said, the manga defied that trope only when Nino confessed again in the next chapter(you will see soon) as he didn't hear her, other trash harem manga will conveniently ignore the confession and hence the plot remains stagnant. Breath of fresh air which separated it from other harems. and again, that's just happened with kuzumi-kun kuuki yumetemasuka, that's deviation of cliche it self, is not that original either (oh god, and tons of shoujo out there)... Digitalexile said: Miku's understanding "history" isn't the only one, it has been shown many times how she appreciated his kindness. It's much better than Rizu reason of bokuben at least. while it's not solely one, it's the main one, and the one that make her fall to begin with... rizu however doesn't even understand love to begin with, and still is... she does felt attraction and jealousy towards nariyuki, but she don't understand Digitalexile said: yeah, and author made her love fuutarou persona again, by most convinient cliche way possible... doesn't even try to redeem how abusive nino towards fuutarou before hand... suddenly justified just because she is cute and suddenly fallen in love with MC? don't make me laugh...About Nino, you are misunderstanding with "superficial looks". She liked Fuutarou other persona, but liked himv again when he helped all the sisters by actively trying to convince her to get back, quite valid reason. Digitalexile said: I truly enjoyed SoL comedy of bokuben when it started. Pretty disappointed me with how it turned out. what? it still like that... sensei however already has very stable character, to change the quo, it need lot effort (and unlikely happened), obviously chapter with her wouldn't change her mind much, slow and curupted bit by bit... it even make less sense otherwise... the fanservice also has pretty same amount since beginning.... and it still stay true to beginning... I have read that one and it doesn't happen in the very next chapter defying the trope, no. >tons of shoujo Nice joke lol, show me one vampire knight? watashi xxx shinasai? taiyou no ie? ore monogatari? Digitalexile said: That's the problem, the "jealousy", " attraction ", whatever words you may use, has worse reasons than we see for Miku. what reason? she never has reason or even made one to begin with... just slowly acostumized with nariyuki kindness and it's grown to her... her own character is never be the reason... can you said same for fuutarou and miku? which just suddenly fall in love becaue "he understood my obesession"... then accostumized come later and suddenly try to made reason to confess (which is rejected by ichika) Digitalexile said: >by most convinient cliche way possible... doesn't even try to redeem how abusive nino towards fuutarou before hand... suddenly justified just because she is cute and suddenly fallen in love with MC If that's cliché, I wonder what term I would use for bokuben. you doesn't even try to defend anymore, just bashing... to make the other looks bad and this one good... when they are complitely unrelated and equally cliche on it's own... Digitalexile said: The author showed how Nino progressed by- Helping Yotsuba with track field Convincing her father, giving Fuutarou advice not to go against him, and then being the first sister to demand living separately If she didn't redeem herself for you, fine, but a lot of people like her now, just visit any forums like reddit. the way she progress is the problem tho, not that she isn't progressed.... as i pointed out was very abrupt and convinient, even by romance standard.... Nowhere, because the manga is out of ideas. That panel you were showing isn't even a teaching technique, just a topic clarification, there are better panels available to show that tbh You think that complaint in forums is relevant when none of you pay for it and the sales of the manga are on Japan which btw, likes what it's been doing? Even more because your complaint is already retard to begin with. Romcom since the beginning AREN'T' made for plot, they're made for episodic chapters with comedy and interactions between each character with some developments here and there until the end. That's the very first formula of it and one of the more popular ones. If you don't like it, you should drop all the time because what go-toubun does with focusing on plot is just one more type of how to do a romcom in which yes, both should and needs to exist for the sake of storytelling and different tastes. And no, Mafuyu isn't appearing all that much on the last chapters. That only happened after the popularity poll results and then it wasn't anymore. Lastly, Bokuben is a romcom focusing on comedy chapters, 5-toubun is a romcom focusing on the romance. They're different type of series. |

The fanservice has obviously increased with her character especially, everyone can see that lol, im fact it's a popular complaint in forums.Where are the good career advice, interactions from the start of the manga? Nowhere, because the manga is out of ideas. By your logic, critics shouldn't exist without voicing opinions anywhere and we should read it as it is, nice logic and gatekeeping. Oh yeah, I know Sao and mahouka and Black clover are the epitome of quality seeing their sales already kek. Again, great job not understanding the point. I said bokuben's character interactions and comedy have been stale with cheap fanservice, I said how with every sensei chapter. Did I ever complain with komi san or kaguya for that? Because there authors know how to use new characters relevantly keeping it fresh even without any progress, just what you said about romcom types. A few chapters ago, in bokuben it looked like it was going to get away all misunderstanding drama by Fumino saying it to the mc about Uruka. What happened and what purpose did that scene serve? Nothing. "Great comedy and interactions", right? Lol If you still like it, fine, nobody is stopping, at least last Fumino.chapter was a good chapter in a long while. Even senpai SoL interactions are good when it doesn't approach the angle of fanservice. Bokuben just has far too many stale chapters even in terms of comedy and interactions now. |

How easy thise girl swayed? Very dramatic save by mc with most convenient time possible? Romance that each character need to be conflicted to be developed? Kuma said: what is this melodramatic scane? feels like some telenovela TV... LMAO What melodramatic scene? This is as straightforward as you can get for harem manga, a breath of fresh air compared to manga like bokuben where it takes 100 chapters for one confession. Hey, i don't see this series bad btw... That's like criticize apple because it's not taste like orange as you want... >pseudo confession You realized that she was serious about the confession right? Ichika got helped in her acting career in that festival arc, all valid reasons. Yotsuba and Itsuki are still friends. Digitalexile said: >Romance that each character need to be conflicted to be developed? Realistic study methods, good comedy, but nowadays it's just cheap fan service with Sensei's character and all(gone are those days of proper student teacher interactions or even romance buildup). Pretty disappointed me with how it turned out. what? it still like that... sensei however already has very stable character, to change the quo, it need lot effort (and unlikely happened), obviously chapter with her wouldn't change her mind much, slow and curupted bit by bit... it even make less sense otherwise... the fanservice also has pretty same amount since beginning.... and it still stay true to beginning... I have read that one and it doesn't happen in the very next chapter defying the trope, no. >tons of shoujo Nice joke lol, show me one That's the problem, the "jealousy", " attraction ", whatever words you may use, has worse reasons than we see for Miku. >by most convinient cliche way possible... doesn't even try to redeem how abusive nino towards fuutarou before hand... suddenly justified just because she is cute and suddenly fallen in love with MC If that's cliché, I wonder what term I would use for bokuben. By romance manga standards this manga is moving along very well. With two of her sisters also very interested in him, now what will they do? |

Well i can say this manga really really break the harem trope perfectly you get a progress for each character but at different rate, not equal yes "fairness" it is. The confession is also happen in the perfext time. The author also make sure to utility the quintuplets thing perfectly. It was met my expectation at all. |

NOT I know this is a harem with this type of tropes but you've already done this one author you can't just cocktease something like this twice. Still wow what a great end to this mini arc with them finishing their exams lol i couldn't stop laughing with the motorcycle pic it was just 2 good. |

I cannot believe that Nino got the first confession in. Wow. I kinda feel bad for Miku. |

Damn, brilliant chapter! Post-anime events are surely just a notch better, I really hope we get a 2nd Season someday! But this right here is definitely my favourite volume of the series! No surprises, Nino has passed through the hurdle, being noneother than the final examinations. I was little concerned at the start that she wouldn’t give her farewells to Futarou but loved how everything just turned out! Father is being reasonable as always, he really has a way with words doesn’t he xD. But then there’s Futarou! Nino saw a glimpse of her Princess Charming on a Horse there lol, great touch! I’m not sure how that wicked smile can be considered of happiness but it’s good to see he’s realised that the fact they’re out living on their own comes down to his fault. Lol, Futarou’s “Uh.. Uhm.. Father, I’ll be taking Caren of your Daughters” bit was hilarious, I’m guessing this is the main reason behind that wicked smile. Anyway, those final panels definitely were the highlight! Splendid stuff! I didn’t imagine Futarou would get anything less than a straight 500/500 but it’s nice to see he clearly went out of his way to help the girls cross over this very barrier. Nino’s finally confessed to but the question is did Futarou hear that? Surely logic would say so since they were communicating just fine earlier but who knows, *sigh*. Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for us next! First confession away, curious to see how many more we will see in the next Volume! |

Nino with the silent attack though. Yey even more blood bath to witness ( ͡ᵔ ͜ʖ ͡ᵔ ) And thus conclude the exam arc, again! Nonetheless, glad to see that everyone actually passed it. Nothing left to tackle except the romance and slight drama side. The chapters will be more fun ~ |

Happy for all of them. Sad for Miku. Poor dude's grades went down though. And I literally did a massive spittake (without water) when Nino confessed. |

I really don't like this series that much but when it lands some romance it lends it well. The premise is actually so unique with how anyone can imagine themselves with the best girl, the author truly has a knack for harem series. |
